2 years later

jimin laid a single rose down.

"i'll miss you."

he smiled softly.

"we'll all miss you, eomma."

it's been two months since jimin's mother's departure from earth.

jimin hadn't healed but moping around wasn't really gonna do him much.

he walked away from the cemetery, bumping into someone as he did.

it seemed like they were entering.

"oh my gosh, i'm sorry, i didn't see where i was going. are you okay?"

the male stood and wiped off dirt from his jacket.

jimin looked him up and down for any bruises.

"yes, i'm fine."

he nodded and walked into the cemetery as jimin walked out.

6 months later

yoongi pulled at his hair in frustration.

he had failed to produce another song; or so he thought.

over the years, he had built an crippling case of anxiety.

constant reminders that maybe his songs weren't good enough, even though, he had let them public listen to them.

he pushed his chair out the way and walked, grabbing a sweater in the midst of asking his keys out.

as he stepped into the cold korean air, he saw a male crying.

usually, yoongi would leave them be, but something was pulling him to this person.

he ran to them and sat.

"um are you okay?"

the male looked up at him and shook his head.

"do you mind telling me?"

"i was in love. and....and i still am. today's our anniversary. i feel like he doesn't remember."

"what's his name?"

"yoongi. min yoongi."

yoongi gulped and nodded.

"i remember."

jimin furrowed his eyebrows.

"you do?"

"it's been a while. maybe we were meant to be."
