Running through a field of yellow flowers, I can feel the wind blowing through my hair, smelling of food from the cottage down the way.

Looking behind me, I see a boy running towards me, a huge smile on his face. He looked familiar, but I could put my finger on who he was.

I felt like this was a place where nothing could go wrong, All I felt was happiness and bliss.

I was still running, when all of a sudden, the skies turned a dark shade of gray and thunder started to clap.

Looking back, the little boy was gone. Stopping, I spin around, watching the clouds swirl over my head.  Red drops start to fall, and I look down and scream.

I recognize the boy now. And he was dead at my feet. I take off running again, not sure of where i'm going.

Finally, I run into a forest, hiding from the blood splattered raindrops falling upon my face. Scared and lonely, I stop and try and think of the things happening around me.

Why is he dead? Why is it raining blood? What the hell is going on? I'm lost in a field somewhere I've never been, and feel so alone and destroyed.

I drop down on a stump beside me, unsure of what to do at this point. All I knew, was that I didn't know anything. Nothing made sense.

I wasn't sure of what to do, cry, or suck it up and keep going. No one was around, I didn't know where I was, and I was scared out of my mind.

Just as I stood up, lightning struck behind me, and I closed my eyes in fear. I kept them closed, too afraid to open them in fear of the storm.

I could feel the wind, hear the leaves tremble at the storms mercy, and smell the mud at my feet. Unaware of the circumstances, I just stayed there, eyes shut, not daring peep at the hell of a world around me.

Waiting for the storm to die down, I lower myself to the ground, and fall asleep. After a while I hear something crash to the ground around me, and jolt my eyes open.

When my eyes adjust to everything around me, I realize I'm back in my own room. Safe and sound.

In front of me, Alistair lay in the floor, obviously he tripped over something. I feel something drip down my face, and wipe what appears to be sweat and tears from the side of my face.

I sit up, looking at the things he knocked over when he fell. I see the blanket wrapped around his ankle, him holding his head, trying not to laugh.

I get up, walking over to him. I grab the blanket, releasing its hold on his ankle, and help him up.

" What are you doing? Why are you up?" I ask, a hushed voice so we don't wake my mom up. I look up at him, his hair all messed up and a sleepy look on his face.

" I was going to get a rag, you were crying and sweating. I tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't wake up. I was kind of scared. What were you dreaming about?" He says, pulling me into a hug.
