Edd x Selective Mute! Reader

Living with the Eddsworld crew was fun, but there was only one small problem. You were mute. But not because of health issues or anything like that. It was just your decision to be mute.

Tom would usually tell you that you should start talking since it would just be easier but you would just shake your head or write 'No.' on your white bourd. But you always felt like the three hated you. And thought you were annoying but Always kept those things to yourself.

You sat on the lonely couch. Sitting criss cross while petting Ringo who was in between your legs.  Just starring at nothing in particular. You would have watched the TV but you kept it off in hopes of not waking the others, it was 3:47 in the morning of course so turning on the lights was Also a no. This was kind of a regular thing. You would wake up early then stare at the clock until it was 6:00 at the earliest.

But today you decided to sit in the living room since you grew tired of starring at the things in your room. So now you stayed in the living room. In the dark. You started closing your eyes tiredly before you heard your name. "Y/n?"

You opened your eyes then whipped your head around to see Edd. He walked over to the light then flicked it on, the light blinded you but you only rubbed your eyes. You looked at Edd then looked to your side and grabbed the white bourd and marker writing on the bourd.

Once you finished writing you held the bourd in front of Edd. He read it aloud in a robot-ish voice, "Good morning Edd." you smiled  hearing his tone. "Good morning Y/n. What are you doing up so early?" He asked normally. You erased the old words on the bourd with your sleeve then wrote on the bourd your response to Edd.

"I usually get up this hour. Can I ask the same with you?" Edd read for you. You looked at him for a response. "Eh. I just got up for no reason. Then I saw you on the couch. I thought you were a ghost. Why were you sitting in the dark?" Edd asked.

You wrote your response then Edd read it "I grew Tired of starring at my room ceiling." he read. "Is this why you drink (Red bull/ monster/ Rockstar/ coffee/ other) regularly?" Edd asked. You hummed in response. Soon Edd walked to the kitchen then you heard the fridge open and close and Edd returned with a Coke in his hands.

You stopped starring at him then starred directly in front of you. He yawned and you heard the soda can pop and sizzle. "Do you want to watch something?" Edd asked. You only shrugged and did a silent yawn.

He just turned on the TV then started watching 'The Children'. you eventuality grew tired and scooted next to Edd placing your head on your shoulder. Ringo mewed annoyed and moved getting comfortable then he started purring again. You continued to pet Ringo's soft fur while taking a deep breath in. Though for some strange reason you wanted to Pet Edd's hair.
You just had a feeling that his hair would be soft.

A smile crept onto Edd's face feeling you lay on his shoulder. It was really peaceful. Your breath breath was steadied with the occasional deep breath in and out.

If you Were dating Edd he may have just lay his head on yours, because it wouldn't be weird. But. Since you two Weren't dating Edd decided to just watch the TV and let you sleep on his shoulder until you woke up. You already fell asleep doh.
