Carolina's outfit for the Bonfire party.

We reached 14k! For a starting author, that means a lot. I'm sorry for not updating in a long time.
School was in my way and when I did clear my schedule to write, I was working on adding more content to the previous chapters and finishing this chapter.
Thank you for your patience and and thank you for commenting, reading, or voting. I appreciate it.
Without further ado, here's the next chapter.

"Okay. In a right triangle, when finding a missing side, sine would be opposite over hypotenuse," I repeat, talking to myself whilst walking in an empty hallway.
I look at my math book in my hand and broke out into a grin, sighing in relief because I didn't get the answer wrong.
There was a trigonometry test in Math today and everyone was studying for it. And when I mean everyone, I mean every senior. Whoever fails the test or receives a grade lower than an eighty, will have to go to the mandatory Math class after school hours in the cafeteria.
So, remember when I said that everyone was studying? The reason behind it is because the bonfire is tonight and everyone is literally pumped up for it. I forgot to mention that Shane's parties are legendary and everyone that is invited always end up having a good time either drinking alcohol or making out.
Even Alice and her two sidekicks are trying to study to keep their popularity in check.
Emphasis on the "trying" part.
"So, if tangent is opposite over hypotenuse, cosine is adjacent over-"
I couldn't finish my sentence because the next thing I know, is that I'm being shoved into janitors closet.
"What the-" I start, almost beginning to panic by the darkness of the room and the mysterious person inside with me.
The lights come on and I get a clear view of my kidnapper.
Parker.
I roll my eyes and sigh. "Of course it's you."
Parker looks at me with mock hurt. "And here I thought you'd be glad to see me."
"The day I miss you is the day I lose my humanity," I retort, scoffing in the process.
Parker rolls his eyes. His arrogant face then leaves and is replaced with worry.
"I need your help," he tells me, his voice full of fear.
I look at him skeptically, wondering what his call for help might be. "What's wrong?"
Parker sighs, running a hand through his hair. "It's very bad."
Okay, now I'm worried. He just showed me a sign of frustration. That means he really needs my help.
"Tell me," I ask with curiosity.
"I...I don't know if I should," he replies with a pained expression.
I put a hand on his shoulder. "Whatever it is, let me help you. Tell me what's wrong."
Parker looks at the ground for a second then back at me.
"I..." He begins.
I smile reassuringly to him, telling him to continue because he has nothing to fear.
"I don't think I'll pass the Math exam," he finally says.
My face drops.
Un-freaking-believable.
