"What the hell!" Liz yell's angrily, running to inspect the damaged tires.
Surprised was not the word I would use. Shocked is the correct word. I was completely shocked that Alice would do something like this. Alice did make my day hell, but I didn't think she would go this far.
"Ugh! Alice has gone way too far," Liz angrily tells me, wiping her hands and standing up.
"My thoughts exactly," I reply with the same anger, still eying her tires.
You can probably imagine how that looks like. Not one tire was slashed, but all four. How did she even think about doing this? There is no way she would go this...illegal. She may do all the typical and cliche high school drama, but she isn't capable of thinking this far.
"I'm calling Elliot," Liz interrupts my thoughts, taking out her phone and dialing him.
I leave her and go inside my house. I enter to see Cara sitting on the couch on her phone.
Cara looks up and frowns. "I thought you guys left."
"We did. We just ran into a huge problem resulting in anger and frustration," I tell her, with a grimace.
"What happened?" She asks, then gives me a knowing look. "Alice."
"Correct," I answer, crossing my arms. Cara gets off the couch and walks over to me.
"She decided that it would great to end my hell and give Liz hell, by slashing her tires."
Cara looks at me in disbelief. "She did what?!"
"Why don't you look for yourself?"
We go outside to only be greeted with Liz angrily talking on her phone to Elliot.
"-come and see for yourself, Elliot. She is going to get it from me because when I'm done with her-" She stops talking and looks at Cara, an irritated look plastered on her face because of how frustrated she was.
I wouldn't blame her. Alice's fury was suppose to be based on me and only me, not them. I didn't think her next targets would be them.
"Just get here as soon as possible," Liz tells Elliot, then hangs up.
I run a hand through my brown hair, Liz's tires still in my head. "This wasn't supposed to happen to you!"
"Don't beat yourself up about it," Liz sighs.
"How am I not supposed to? Those were supposed to be my tires, not yours," I tell her.
"Nonsense. It was only a matter of time before it happened to me or Cara," she replies, shaking her head in disagreement.
Cara nods. "She's right. We stick together and we get through hell together."
Liz cracks a smile. "That should be our motto."
Even if we were in hell, both Liz and Cara would find a way to smile.
"You guys," I start, looking at them in admiration.
I hug both of them. "What would I do, without you two."
"What would we do without you?" Liz says back, hugging me and Cara.
"So...what are we going to do with the trio?" Cara asks, letting go of me and Liz.
Liz frowns. "Trio?"
"You don't actually believe she did it alone. Alice had help and that help, is getting our wrath too."
I smile. "She's right. Amber and Cathy are going see what happens when they mess with us."
