Chapter 11 - So It Begins

Hayley's POV

I woke up with a bright light in front of me. The place was all white and Ryan was staring at me but left when our eyes met. That jerk. A doctor came in and told Ryan that I was already fine. I tried my best to sit up straight. Ryan helped me and I began to ask what happened. Tina woke up and hugged me tight. Sobbed and sobbed and told me that she was worried because she thought I'll die. I asked what really happened because they made me more curious.

"Tony was chasing you but you slipped when you saw the snake. It bit you plus your head got hit on the rock."

Tony brought flowers inside the room while the others brought balloons and a banner that says "Sorry Hayley". I forced myself not to laugh and acted like I was having an amnesia. My forehead wrinkled as I began to ask them who they were. They were all so shock that the balloons fell. The best part was when Tina's jaw dropped. Pinching myself was the only way I could do to stop laughing.

"Do I know you all?"

"Im Tina. Your best friend. She began to start crying"

"Holy fuck man. Shit. This is all your fault. Brandon whispered to Tony"

"Im calling the doctor now. Ryan added"

"Wait. I was just kidding guys. I grinned"

"You suck Hay! Tony screamed while trying to punch Brandon"

"You should never do that again. Tina furiously commanded"

I kept laughing and laughing until the doctor came and told us that I could leave after lunch. We had a good time recalling the memories we had in the woods. I got hungry and they all asked what I wanted. I laughed while staring at their confused faces.

"Seriously guys? Im really totally fine"

"Just tell us what you want!"

"Wait, you guys are scared of my parents huh?"

"Uh well, we're just concern okay?"

"Oh really? I laughed and told them my order."

I laughed so hard knowing that they're scared of my parents. They started to feel tense with the situation while the only thing I did was just laugh. They're scared?! I cant believe this. Okay I should get over this. They all went down and I was left with Ryan. Everything became seriously awkward. He suddenly hugged me and told be that we was worried. Okay? That was weird.

"You look prettier when you sleep"

"Im always pretty"

"Yeah but a pretty girl would never be appreciated when she doesn't take a bath"

"Get lost. Get out of my room."

I slapped him that made us both laugh. I punched him then my hand started to hurt. He told me that he'll massage it so he really did then someone knocked at the door and opened. A nurse came in bringing a bouquet of flowers. I asked who was it from but she told me that I'll just find out who. I smelled the flowers the nurse gave me. Well, Ive always wanted to try smelling it like in movies which was really weird of me. When curiosity strikes. I got the card that was inserted on the flowers.

"Hey, Im sorry I cant visit you but I hope you'll smile when you get these. By the way I ate the relative of the snake who bit you.

Rex"

I smiled while reading the message. This guy is crazy but funny. He never fails to make me laugh. I checked the flowers and smelled it for the last time and placed it on the table.

"From Rex?"

"Yeah. How did he know about me being here?"

"May be Tina"
