CURSED CHILD IS OUT O.O! and i, the random hoe who started writing this shit in 2012 on microsoft word, now has to try her hardest to incorporate as much of cursed child into this fanfic so it doesn't become AU and is actually canon :((((((( wish me luck guys, i shalt try. but i think i guessed a lot of things right, based on what i've read of cursed child so far, so it isn't completely devastating for someone like me who wants to be as loyal to J.K. as possible? personality wise, rose is pretty spot on, i'd say? a sarcastic smartass snob disguised as an awkward potato with some severe neurotic/obsessive issues? one thing though, the malfoy and weasley families hate each other in cursed child (i thought not to pursue that as a 12 year old (still do)--it's been years, and they've been through hell, i honestly thought it was very meh that the writers decided to keep that rivalry, but for conflict's sake, I guess? -.-) But I ain't changin dat in dis, I already gave an explanation as to why they get along, they aren't that petty and childish in my opinion. It is that very discrimination and marginalization that caused the war, and if they learnt anything from the past, sorry Harry, sorry Ron, yall are gonna have to suck it up and chill with the Malfoys. (we all knew it was meant to happen, anyway, as well as albus and scorpius' lit ass bromance--which I am currently destroying because...REASONS MUAHAHAH). i hate myself. but don't worry they'll get back together lol, i ship them more than i ship scorose (kidding haha...kind of).
my impression so far of cursed child is that, dunno, it's okay. it's not amazing. i may sound a bit of a hypocrite, seeing as i write fanfiction myself lol, but my brutally honest opinion is that it the style of writing just irked me as straight up, blatant fanfiction. am i the only one? seriously sorry for my impression, first impressions are what they are.
