It's been a week since Roy accepted this troubling challenge. So far, Ed remembers, his full name, his family's names, where he came from, where he was born, and the important people at Roy's job. Not much progress. It sounds like a lot, but that's probably only about a months worth of memories. Roy still has 15 years to go. This task was too tedious. Roy was getting absolutely nowhere. He was becoming more frustrated than before. His blindness now giving him pain, in more ways than one. He felt useless. They hurt physically. He was afraid he couldn't do it in time. 15 years. That's a lot to cover. And with what the doctor said made him more anxious. He couldn't sleep at night. Ever since the transmutation he hasn't gotten any sleep. He was busy trying to help Ed, and was too scared to fall asleep. Currently Roy was at his office and brought Ed along with him. Roy brought some files on state alchemists who might be of use. "Let's see. Havoc. Read off the state alchemists." Roy demanded. "Okay. Steel alchemist, Fullmetal alchemist, flame alchemist, strong arm alchemist, iron blood alchemist, freeze alchemist, wind alchemist, healing alchemist, and brain alchemist." Roy thought for a moment on the names of state alchemists. "Okay. Give me information about the healing alchemist and healing alchemist." Roy asked. "Healing alchemist. Known for healing the wounded, sick, or injured. And the brain alchemist, uses alchemy to help with brain damage and recovery." Roy nodded. "Any way of contacting this brain alchemist?" Havoc frowned. "No sir. Apparently he's been missing and no one can find him. But we can contact to healing alchemist." Roy shook his head. "Isn't that Dr. Marcoh?" Havoc look through the file looking for his information. "No. Apparently it's an alchemist who got recruited a couple months ago." Roy thought for a while then decided to go with the healing alchemist. "Contact them. Make sure they are available and can come here as soon as possible." Havoc saluted then went to contact the healing alchemist. "Why are you contacting the healing alchemist?" Ed asked Roy. "They may be able to help you. The brain alchemist could've been better, but they are missing so there's no way of contacting them." Roy told Ed, looking down at him, hoping he actually was where he was, "looking." "Oh. Okay. I hope I can remember everything again!" Ed said gleefully with a smile, trying to stay positive. "Yeah. I hope so too, Ed. I hope so too."

Man. It been WAY too long since I've last updated this. Now that October is over, I can write the fanfics I haven't updated in a while. This one I was trying to find ideas for, so it took a while for this to come out. Thank you for giving me support and waiting for this chapter to come. I'll try to update more often because I love writing on here.
