Day 13
"What else can I do? I've tried everything... nothing is working... I want to give up but I can't... he's.. he's everything to me. I can't let him die. I just can't!" Riza brings in more paperwork for Roy to do, which of course is pushed to the side and he's left with himself and his thoughts. "Sir. You have work to do. I'm sure this whole situation with Ed is going to be okay. Just please do your job before you get fired. You haven't been doing anything lately but trying to restore Ed to his original form. If the Führer finds out about your actions he'll be sure to get rid of you in a heartbeat. Especially with you doing that forbidden alchemy." Roy doesn't say a word back too much on his mind to even think about his paperwork. Riza notices and sighs ready to head out the door. Roy grabs a book out of his desk. One about biological alchemy and the human body. He skims through the pages trying to find something about memory loss and a way to get that back without it taking as long as it has been. Of course nothing useful was there.

Meanwhile Ed has been staying at home trying to figure out the whole situation himself. Pacing back and forth trying to wrap his head around it. "What's going on with me? Why do I remember something one moment then the next forget about it? What's going on? Who am I? Where am I? Is my life a lie? Is it just like how Al thought about his memory?" He gasps as his brain grasps onto something then instantly lets go. "Dammit!! I just had it! I remembered my brother! Al... he's in armor... and I was the cause for that... I remember my brother and the human transmutation!! I'm so close! Yet... so far..." Ed then saw Roy walk into the house with Havoc guiding him there. "Roy! I remembered something!" Ed shouted somewhat excitedly. "That's nice." Roy said with a dull voice. "It was my brother and the transmutation. I caused him to be in the suit of armor! I remember it completely now!" He said, thinking about all of those memories that correlated to that event. "Hm." Roy simply replied nodding his head. Ed noticed his simple answers had no reaction and he walked up to him. "Roy? What's wrong? Did something bad happen?" He asked him. Havoc set him down on the couch, then left the two alone to talk. "Ed. I have to tell you something. Sit next to me and tell me when you're facing me." He said, looking in the direction of Ed's voice. Ed sat down next to Roy, placing a gentle hand on his. "Okay. I'm facing you. I'm right next to you. Now. What happened?" He asked him again, this time with a softer tone.

"Ed... I got fired from my job..."

I am so sorry I haven't been writing in here! I thought I'd finish this chapter since I already had some of it written. I'll try to finish this story as soon as I can since you guys seem to enjoy it so much. I've been on hiatus for so long, but that doesn't mean I'll be on here more often. What this chapter is, is for you guys to know that I'm still trying my hardest to publish things for you. I have writer's block with so many stories I'm writing, where some of them aren't even on Wattpad. I'm sorry I haven't updated anything. I just can't seem to get inspiration and/or the motivation to continue with the stories on here. So I'll try and finish this story, then until further notice or when I actually feel like I can write a good chapter, the rest of the stories that are published and not finished will be marked as completed and discontinued. I know I keep apologizing, but again I'm sorry. I'm really glad that some of you still read my stories, but I just can't seem to write. So, I guess I'll see you guys when I can. Cya later.
