"So, are you nervous?" Jake asks as we drive toward school. I get more nervous with every mile we pass.

"No, I'm fine. I just hope I don't get lost." I say and look through the window. We're about five minutes away form school. Oh God, I'll die.

"Are you sure you're fine?" he asks again. He's so nice and kind.

"Yeah, I'm fine, really." Now I can see huge brick building in the center of the complex. My stomach flutters. I was never more nervous in my entire life. "Jake..." I say, but stop. I can't tell him I don't want to go, he'll laugh at me.

"What?" he says as he parks the car. Again, the parking is filled with cars and trucks. So many people are out there, how am I going to fit in? Oh, God.

"Nothing." I say and shake my head. He locks the door when I get out of the car and we start walking toward the school. Everybody are noisy and loud, laughing or talking. I hear some guy railing and then a professor, I guess, telling him that that's not nice. I was just turning to look there, but Jake tells me to look at something.

"Look, it's Mrs. Martchins. I think she's walking toward us." he says and looks down the sidewalk. I follow his eyes and see Mrs. Martchins walking toward us. Oh, God, what did I do now?

"Elizabeth Willis?" she asks when she reaches us. I nod and she gives me a blue envelope. What the fuck? "You need to go to the principles office after your classes." she says and walks away.

"What the fuck?" I say and look at the envelope. There's no name or address on it. Who could send me a letter, on my schools' address? Nobody knows where my new school is or where I moved.

"Come on, you'll open it later. We'll be late for class." Jake says and pulls me toward the math classroom. We enter the room full of people who are talking in small groups. Teacher's not here yet I guess. Jake leads me toward one of the groups.

Short, chubby girl is seating on the table and talking something to two guys in front of her. One of them is tall and thin, his black hair is hiding his eyes. The other one is a few inches shorter than him, I can see his arms are covered with tattoos. He's wearing all black and... Oh God, he has piercing in his bottom lip.

"Hey guys! What's up?" Jake pats that dark guy and tousles that girs' hair. They have some strange handling and some other shit I don't get.

"Who's your friend?" tall guy asks. I wonder if he can see me with that hair covering his eyes.

"Guys, this is Beth. She just moved here." he introduces me to his friends.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Dylan." tall guy says and smiles at me.

"You too." I say quietly and give him a small smile.

"I'm Chad, nice to meet you, Beth." other guy says and smiles wide. His teeth are so beautiful.

"I'm Brianna, Brie." chubby girl says and gives me weak smile. She doesn't seem so friendly like Chad and Dylan.

"Nice to meet you too." I say to them and take a seat next to Jake. His friends look at us aghast as they seat on their seats. What the fuck? Is there something wrong? I look up at Jake, but he's looking at Dylan with concern on his face. What's wrong with these people!?

"Good morning, class!" someone says and classroom is suddenly silent. "So, let's get to work. Today we have to do a test preparation, right?" out teacher asks. He's about thirty-three years old, tall and good looking. I just hope he won't notice a new student in the classroom.

"Professor, I see we have a new student. Is she going to introduce herself or what?" some blond, plastic girl with fake accent asks. I have never seen that much make up on one place, not even in the make up store.

"New student?" teacher says and looks at me. "Oh, yeah! The principal told me that we have new student." he looks at some papers on his table and then looks at me again. "Elizabeth Willis, right?" he asks and nod. "Well, welcome to our class. I'm professor Mark Stewart, your head teacher. I teach math here, as you can see. I hope you'll fit in." he says and smiles at me.

"Thanks... I mean, thank you." oh, fuck. Don't tell me that I just said 'thanks' to my head teacher! Oh, God! What the fuck is wrong with me today?

"Okay, let's move back to our test preparation." he says when he silences the murmurs and giggles. I spend the rest of the class in silence, ignoring some rude comments. I already hate this place so much...

When the bell rings I stand up and pack my things. I know that everybody are looking at me. I force myself not to look at them and walk toward the door. The moment I step out of the classroom I run against someone.

"Woah, watch out!" I know that voice. Oh, no, not him again. "Why can't you look where are you going!? Man!" It's that Zayn guy from yesterday.

"I'm sorry. I didn't see you." I apologize, but somehow I know it won't be enough.

"Yeah, next time you'll run over me with a car and say 'Oops! I didn't see you! Sorry.'! he says ironically. I look at him and there's something different about him today.

"Fuck off, Zayn." Jake is standing next to me. "You already made us enough problems yesterday."

"It's not your business." Zayn says and pushes Jake to the side so he can enter the classroom.

"You..." Jake begins, but stops. "Ugh!" he's angry. Why would he be angry, it's not a big deal.

"I'll see you later, Jake." I say and walk down the hall toward my history class. I remember that Jake showed me the history classroom yesterday. It's on the third floor I think.

"Hey, you! Wait!" someone calls me when I reach the stairs. I turn around and I meet brown eyes looking at me.

(Hey! What's up? :D
