Chapter 2: Making Friends

Kate's P.O.V

Sonny is so fucking cute! But he probably has a girlfriend already so why bother to impress. "I actually think we might have music.." Sonny mumbles. "Oh okay, so let's go." I say. I saw him crack a smile. I made him smile! I knew I was blushing for sure. That smile just kills people.

The bell rings, so time for class. I took the seat next to Sonny. The teacher walked into the classroom. "Welcome everyone to music! I'm Mr Harris and I'll be your teacher. Now, for the beginning of the semester I would like to start off with a class project!" The class groaned and complained. "I will put you with a partner and together you have to write a song! And at the end of the term, you will perform it. Now I will choose the partners." I really hoped I was with Sonny. If I did I would seriously be such a flirt but you know, he is so cute. "Kate and uh.." I hand my fingers cross. If it wasn't him, I would die. "Kate and Sonny!" He said pointing to him. He looked at me and blushed. I smiled and blushed too.

After music, we walked out of the classroom. "So Kate, do you wanna start writing the song today?" Sonny asked nicely. "Yeah sure, where though?" He shrugged. "Um, my place?" "Perfect!" I said happily. He smiled again and looked into my eyes. "Wait..Kate Bloom?" I got surprised. He knew me? "Yeah that's my name.." I say. His eyes got big and he ran over and hugged me tight and spun me around. He placed me back and laughed. "It's me! Sonny Moore?! I'm the lead singer in your brothers band!" I smiled wide and hugged him again. "Oh my God I can't believe I didn't even recognised you!" He smiled wide again pulled me into another hug. Then he kissed my cheek like 10 times. "Yay! Wanna come to lunch with me?" I was blushing so much I just knew it. Sonny Moore just kissed me...on the cheek!

I got my lunch and walked outside. I couldn't find Sonny anywhere so I went to Derek's table. Derek, Matt and Travis. "Hey guys, have you seen Sonny anywhere?" Then the guys started making kissing noises and fluttered their eyelashes mocking me. "Ooh I'm Kate and I love Sonny Moore!" Travis yelled that nearly EVERYONE could hear. "Kiss me Sonny! Kiss me hard!" Matt yelled too. "I began to blush and made a pouty face. "Shut up guys! I don't like Sonny!" I say, but I lied. He was so beautiful, I couldn't resist. "Fine then.." Derek mumbled but then he ran over to me and started tickling me. "D-Derek! S-s-stop t-tickling m-me!" I try to yell. "Tell me if you like Sonny and I will stop!" He yells. "N-never!" I struggle to yell again. "Fine I'll just keep doing it!" Okay, I gave up. I am REALLY ticklish. "O-okay! I'll tell you!" I yell. The guys all walked closer to me and looked down over me. "Um, I kinda do..but please don't tell him because he probably doesn't like me back!" I say softly and beg. "I knew it!" Matt yelled. I rolled my eyes and gave my brother a hug. "I'm gonna go now, by the way I'm not hungry so you guys can have my food." As soon as I said that, they crawled onto the table like animals fighting over my lunch.

I wonder where Sonny is...
