"Alam mo Maine, sana yung story sa libro, tayo noh?

"Bakit?"

"(para) Happily Ever After"

"Maganda 'to kasi para nakakapagpractice tayo pag... 'lam mo na, may baby na."

"Huh? Baby? Anong baby?

"Sana yung apo ko sa inyo, mahilig din sa libro."

"Lola, so ibig sabihin po pumayag kayo?"

"Ikaw, mahal. Di ka talaga makapagpigil, ano? Umatake nanaman ang kaharutan mo!"

"Bakit? Ano nanamang ginawa ko?"

"Anong ginawa mo? Tama ba namang sabihin mong ako ang midnight snack mo habang nakalive tayo?!"

"Teka, parang wala naman akong maalalang sinabi kong ikaw ang midnight snack ko. Ang naaalala kong sinabi ko, ikaw ang midnight dream. Ikaw, Menggay ha! Alam mo, maniniwala na 'ko kay Kuya John na mas humihilig pag may dinadala eh."

"Ah, so binabaliktad mo 'ko ngayon, Mr. Faulkeson?"

"Hindi ah. I'm just stating a fact, Mrs. Faulkerson. Ikaw nga eh, naisingit mo pa yung pahashtag mong NoToSkinnyJeansAlden. Akala mo hindi ko alam na its after the SaveBabyCharmaine hashtag. Nagtrend tuloy!"

"O, at least effective, diba? Malay ba nilang 'yang pa-skinny jeans mo na 'yan ang dahilan kaya lagi tayong nagmimidnight snack."

"Aba, so dapat pala't magpasalamat ako sa mga skinny jeans ko. Nang dahil sa kanila, naka-assemble tayo."

"Anong assemble? Anong akala mo sa matres ko, factory?!"

"Pwede rin naman. Gusto mo ba?"

"Pwed--"

Just when Maine was about to answer, Ms. Jenny, together with Mr. T entered the conference room.

"Alden, Maine. Sigurado na ba kayo?" Mr. T. asked, his paternal instinct for their babies (who's going to have their own, btw) evident in his voice. After all, he's their Ninong-Tatay.

"Opo, 'tay. Sigurado na po." Alden answered, enveloping his wife's hand with his.

"Pwede pa naman nating baguhin yung storyline if ever magbago ang desisyon niyo. We can reveal about the secret agad-agad or we can stick to the plan na pahapyaw lang muna about kay Charmaine every once in a while."

"Sige po, Ms. Jen, we'll consider that option. Pero sa ngayon po, we're fine with the original plan. Ayoko din naman mastress si Maine once the news comes out."

"Anyway, Alden, Maine. I know both of you were surprised sa plane tickets since you were not briefed about it. Well, yung hawak niyo kanina are just props. The real boarding passes are with me."

Mr. T handed them an envelope with 2 plane tickets. Both Alden and Maine were left mouth agape. Mr. T, as if sensing the questions that were running in their heads, explained his surprise.

"I got you a ticket to Italy. I know you've always wanted to go back there. This time, pure vacation lang. No cameras, no work. Just the two of you."

"Wow, this is really a surprise, Ninong. Thank you po!"

"However, I have only one request and wish."

"Ano pong request niyo, 'tay? Basta po kaya." Aden asked.

"Kumpletuhin niyo na body parts ng apo ko. And sana, nananalangin kami ng Ninang mo, kami nila Vic, actually, na sana kayo ang tumupad sa matagal na naming pangarap."

"Pangarap po? Ano pong pangarap niyo nila Bossing?"

"Alam niyo kasi mga anak, we've always prayed and wanted to have twins in the family. Well, wala namang masama mangarap."

The room was filled with laughter. Alden glanced at Maine whose face is turning red already.

"Pano na 'yan, mahal? Mukhang pass muna ako sa hashtag NoToSkinnyJeansAlden mo. Pinepressure na tayo ni Mr. T, parang kakailanganin ko ng maraming skinny jeans."

"Diba mahal, mas hindi mo nga kailangan ng skinny jeans kung gusto natin silang pagbigyan?" Maine, with her sexiest bedroom voice, whispere to Alden. She really knows her husband's weakness.

"Teka, ano ba 'yang naririnig kong pahashtag mo daw, Maine?"

"Ah, yung #NoToSkinnyJeansAlden po? Ninong, kasi po utang na loob po natin si Charmaine sa mga skinny jeans ni RJ."

"Susmaryosep, sineryoso nga!"
