The Roommates [5SOS]

Chapter 7

{ Chapter 7 }

The next day I heard someone ring the doorbell. It was Adam. "Hey, did your parents arrive already?" Adam asked "No, not yet" I replied as I received a text from my Mom & Dad "Be there in an hour! See you later! -M&D" the text read "They're coming in an hour" I added "Okay" Adam replied. While my Roommates were sleeping we were just talking about old times, when we were together. & he also told he'd be leaving in 2 days & go back to Florida.

**An Hour Later**

After an hour passed by all my roommates woke up & I heard someone knocking on my door as I opened. "Sweetie!" my Mom said hugging me & my Dad hugged me too as they both looked back at my roommates "Ah, Adam my boy, I see your here to see Serenity?" my Dad asked as he nodded. My Dad pretty much liked Adam as my boyfriend.

I introduced my parents to my Roommates. "Meet my Roommates, Ashton, Calum, Luke, & Michael" I said & smiled "You have four roommates? & they're all boys?" my Dad asked as I slowly nodded. "You're not dating any of them, right?" my Dad asked "Yes" I replied "Good, I'll only allow you to be with Adam" my Dad replied. My Dad didn't seem to like any of my roommates. After 3 hours passed by my parents left.

"Thanks guys!" I said with a big smile on my face "For what?" they all asked "For being on your best behavior" I replied "Oh, lol no problem" they all replied. "Serenity, can I ask you something, alone?" Adam asked "Um, sure" I replied as me & Adam went outside my apartment to talk. "As you know, in two days, I'm gonna go back to Florida and.." Adam said "Yes, and?" I replied "I want you to come to Florida, with me. You don't have to but, only if you want to" Adam replied.

I was in shock. I didn't know what to do. It was either I go to Florida with my ex-boyfriend, & get back together with him or stay here with my roommates. "Um.. I don't know.." I said "It's okay, you don't have to give me your answer right away" Adam replied "I have to go now, see you tomorrow" Adam added as he kissed my cheek & left while I went inside my apartment.

"What happened?" Ashton asked "Adam asked me to move with him in Florida.." I replied "What?!" they all said "Well, what are you gonna say?" Calum asked "I don't know.. what do you guys think I should do?" I asked "I say you stay" Calum said "Yeah, me too" Luke & Michael said "It wouldn't be the same without you" Michael said.

"Ashton?" I said as he looked at me " I say, follow your heart" Ashton replied & smiled "It's not our decision, it's yours" Ashton added. I went to my room & sat down on my bed thinking. Follow my heart..? What does that mean..? I don't know what to do..

(Ashton's POV)

I was gonna tell Serenity to stay but, if I did, I would be selfish. Instead of thinking about myself, I thought about her. How she would feel. Serenity's in a really tough position. "Hey, are you really okay with Serenity-" I cut Calum off "As long as she's happy" I said.

(Back to her POV)

"Ugh. I'm so confused.. I don't know what to do.. Show me a sign on what I should do.." I said to myself as I looked at a framed picture of me, Ashton, Calum, Luke, & Michael. I picked up the picture frame and started to stare at the picture. Thinking about what I should do. Everything's to confusing.

As I was thinking I heard someone slowly opening the door, It was Ashton. "Hey" he said & smiled "Hey.." I replied while looking unsure "You okay?" Ashton asked "Yeah.. just, a little confused" I replied "Do you want to get back together with Adam?" Ashton asked "Yes but, at the same time I don't want to leave you guys.." I replied "If you choose to leave, just know, we'll always remember you" Ashton replied & smiled "We've basically never had a roommate like you" he added & smiled but I didn't feel like replying.

"Hey," Ashton said as I looked at him "No matter how far the distance," Ashton added "I'll always be there for you when you need me" Ashton added again & smiled as he left my room. I felt like crying. I really didn't know what to do. As I was deciding whether I should choose my roommates, or ex-boyfriend a tear fell. I just basically couldn't hold it in anymore. While I was thinking I played "When She Cries by Britt Nicole" it was my all time favorite song everytime I was upset.

"I made up my mind" I said while wiping my tears away. It took me the whole day deciding on what I should I do but, I've finally made up my mind. It was already night time. So I just laid down in my bed & went to sleep.
