Chapter 14

{ Chapter 14 }

"Serenity, wake up" Ashton said poking me "Wake up!" Ashton added poking me harder as I lifted up my arm and accidentally hit him. "Ow" he said as I jumped off my bed "Sorry!" I replied "It's okay" he replied while cupping his cheek. "But it really hurts.. you slap hard.." he said "Sorry.. I'll go get an ice pack" I replied as I got up put of bed & got him an ice pack. "Here" I said as he grabbed the ice pack & held it next to his cheek "Thanks" he replied "Hey, what time is it?" I asked "It's 6:25" he replied "6:25? Why did you wake me up so early?" I asked "I just wanted to talk to you about something" I replied.

"Oh, okay. About what?" I asked "Us being just best friends.." Ashton replied "Oh.." I replied "Yeah.." he replied "What about it..?" I asked "I don't want us to be just best friends" he replied "What so you mean..?" I asked "I want us to be more than best friends.." he replied. I didn't reply. I was speechless. After a few seconds I finally spoke. "So, you want to be in a relationship with.. me..?" I asked as he slowly nodded. I smiled as he grabbed my hand "Serenity, will you go out with me?" Ashton asked with a nervous look "Yes" I replied & smiled.

We just basically talked in my room. When it was 7:00 Ashton left my room & dressed up for school as I did too. Pretty much, everyone was already up. When I finished getting dressed I grabbed my backpack & placed it on my chair & started cooking for the guys. After everyone finished getting dressed we all started eating. "How is it?" I asked & smiles "Horrible" Luke replied & laughed "Shut up" I replied & laughed as we all continued eating.

"Nah, he's not kidding. It really is horrible" Calum & Michael said & laughed "Hey-" Ashton cut me off "Guys, stop teasing her" Ashton replied "Haha, okay it's almost like your protecting her as if she was your girlfriend" Michael replied "Haha, yeah" Calum replied "Do you two like each other?" Calum asked "Maybe" me & Ashton said at the same time. "Serenity, we know you'll tell us the truth. Do you like Ashton?" Luke asked raising his brow "I can't answer that" I replied "Why not?" he asked "I just can't" I replied "But-" I cut him off "Look at the time! It's time to go! Let's go" I said grabbing Ashton's arm "We need to talk" I whispered as we both went ahead.

"When do you think we should tell them?" I whispered just in case they heard me. "Tell them that we're dating?" he asked as I nodded "Whenever you want to" he added & smiled "I want to tell them-" his mates cut me off "What are you two talking about?" Luke asked as I looked back "Nothing important" I replied "Uh huh" Luke replied. Me & Ashton continued talking. When we made it to school Ashton walked me to class as the others went to their classes. "See you later" Ashton said & smiled "O-Okay" I stuttered & smiled as I went into class.

In 4th period I was just staring at the clock "Ugh. Can time go by faster?" I thought to myself as the teacher called me. "Serenity, are you listening?" the teacher asked "Y-Yeah" I replied as she continued teaching again & I still kept staring at the clock. A few minutes later the bell rang. When I got out of class Ashton was already outside of my class waiting for me. "Hey" he said & smiled "Hey" I replied & gave him a smile back "How was class?" he asked "Boring. The teacher just kept talking about boring things" I replied "Let's go get lunch?" he asked & smiled as I nodded.

We went to the cafeteria. When we got lunch I just stuffed it into my mouth. "Wow, you must be really hungry" Ashton laughed "Kinda.." I replied. I hung out with Ashton for the whole day. Even after school. We went to the park. After a few minutes passed by I received a call from the others. I answered the phone. "Hello?" I said "Where are you?" Calum asked "Somewhere, why?" I asked "Because we can't get into the apartment" he replied "Shit!" I accidentally yelled "Be there in a few!" I added as I hung up the phone and grabbed my backpack & Ashton's arm & started running to our apartment. Ashton didn't asked what was going on because he already figured it out.

"Sorry guys" I said while unlocking the door as they looked back & saw Ashton. "Whew, you were with Ashton?" Michael asked smirking "Yes.. we were just hanging out" I replied "Uh huh, sure" Luke joined in the conversation "We were" I replied as we all went inside our apartment. When we entered the apartment I started cooking dinner. "Tomorrow's Saturday right?" I asked "Naw, it's Monday" Michael said sarcastically as I raised a brow "Sorry" he added. "I'm gonna go grocery shopping tomorrow" I said "I'll come with you" Ashton replied & smiled "We'll all come with you" Calum replied "Yeah" they all said at the same time.

After we all finished eating & talking we all went straight to our room. I stared at the ceiling then after awhile I fell asleep out of nowhere.

(I know I said in the last chapter that this chapter will be focused on Nath & Serenity but I figured you guys just wanted it to be confused on Ash & Serenity. So, here you go! c:)
