{Mischievous Smile}

His gaze shifted to me and he almost stopped in his tracks, his smile gradually fell and he looked troubled. In a second he regained his expression and moved forward. He took a seat next to Nicky and kissed her tenderly on the cheek, the action caused a slight pain to start on my chest.

            “Hey Nicky,” he told her and then he turned to me. “Hi Ashley, haven’t seen you since yesterday,” he greeted warmly.

            “Yeah,” I nodded and looked at the other guy who had sat beside me. He was handsome I noticed, with black spiky hair and brown dark eyes. He looked oddly bored and out of place, when he caught my stare he just glowered at me.

            “What?” He questioned rudely.

            I was surprised by his outburst but just shook my head. “Nothing,” I said putting my hands up in surrender. “No need to be rude,” I mumbled lowly for him not to hear.

            “You know each other?” Nicky asked Ryan her hand was on top of his on the table, their fingers interlocked. The sight made my heart lurch uncomfortably, and I quickly glanced away.

            “Yeah, we go in the same bus, we’re seat buddies,” he answered sending a bright smile my way. “Right Ashley?” I nodded keeping my gaze on my hands.

            “Oh, where’s my manners,” Ryan chuckled softly. “Ashley this is Matt, Matt this is Ashley,” he introduced me to the scary rude guy.

            “I’m hungry, when is the waiter getting here,” Matt complained as he put his hands down on the table and looked out the window, his gaze shifted to me for a second before going back to the window.

            The waiter soon came when she heard the mention of a waiter, and took out her notepad. “What can I get you?” She asked all of us.

            “I want a salad with a water bottle and a banana sundae,” Nicky ordered first, her tone was high and I was suddenly annoyed by my best friend.  There is something wrong with me!

            “I want a hamburger, fries, coke, and a chocolate sundae,” Ryan told the waitress. She scribbled down the orders and then turned to me and Matt.

            “Uh, I want a hamburger with extra cheese, a slice of pizza, onion rings, a Sprite, and an ice-cream cone with caramel on top,” I said feeling the guy’s eyes on me. I knew Nicky was used to my hunger, but this was the first time I ate with guys who aren’t my siblings.

            Matt grinned showing a pair of white teeth and gave me a nod of approval, “Nice, I never met a girl that has an appetite of a bear.”

            “Huh?”

            Is that a compliment? Well he did say nice, but really? A Bear? He compared me to a bear!

            “I want two slices of pizza with extra cheese, a burger, fries, Dr. Pepper, and an Oreo sundae with extra cookies on top,” he ordered completely ignoring my response. The waitress smiled seductively at him and nodded her head, as she wrote down on her notepad.

            “Will that be all?”

            Everyone nodded and she went away, she sent Matt a wink before she turned around. I shivered in disgust and glared at Matt. He may be a total Hottie but that didn’t mean he had to act so arrogant and mean.
