Author's note:
Hi there, Valerie Parker here, thank you all for reading my story! At first, I had this story completely planned out, then one day I said “nah” and made it different that what it ended up being, but I think that's what I love so much about it. Hopefully, my words have impacted you somehow, and you don't take advantage of any of your friends. Love yourself, your life and everybody you associate with. I had to learn this the hard way with one of my good friends last year. Just as I was beginning to like him and grow really close with him, out of the blue he committed suicide.
It's not his fault, it's not mine. We all do what we can to survive.
Writing from Ty's perspective got very easy when Sky's suicide took place, it was basically like writing out my emotions but through his point of view. Maybe that's why I feel so connected to this story, it's so right on to how death really is (at least for me). Again, I hope you enjoyed, and I hope you smile a little more today than you did yesterday.
Rest in peace Allan Peters (10/23/12)
