I slowly open my eyes to the sound of my alarm and shut it off.

I yawn loudly and look at the time 5am so early.

I stretch and get up off my bed and rush to get changed. I put a pair of black sweat pants on followed by a purple sweatshirt that says skating is my life on it.

I then put my black boots on and grab my skate bag and head downstairs.

I see my dad already up drinking his morning coffee and reading his newspaper.

I kiss him on the cheek and grab an apple and a water.

"Bye dad" I say "I'll be back in about an hour." And I rush out the door.

I smell the fresh morning air as I walk to the rink and drink it in. There's nothing like the fresh morning air I think to myself.

About 15 minutes later I arrive at the rink and wave to Mr. Ron the zambony driver. He opens the doors for me at 5:30 each day so I can practice before school. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

I do some stretches first and then I take my boots off and put my skates on.

I then step on the ice and smile at the feeling of the ice under my feet. It is the best feeling in the world in my opinion.

I giggle and just skate in circles around the rink to warm up at first.

I start with doing my alternating cross exercise. Then I move to working on my spins. I start with my scratch spin first, then move onto my sit spin, then I do my camel spin, and last but not least I do my lay back spin.

I then move onto working on my jumps. I start with my single and double toe loop, then I do my single and double salchow, and double Axel.

I then hear clapping behind me and turn around to see Mr. Ron clapping and I smile and bow.

"Miss I haven't seen talent or dedication for the ice like yours for a while. You have a gift my dear." Mr. Ron says.

I smile and blush "Thank you Mr. Ron I learned it all from my mom she was a professional figure skater too you know." I then feel the tears building up I miss her so much.

He smiles and nods and says "You know with a little coaching you could be a real pro. Maybe even make it to nationals."

I shake my head and say "My dad can't afford a coach right now especially one who is top dollar. My mom always coached me before which is why we could afford it."

He nods his head in understanding "Well if you change your mind let me know. I have a few coaches I can contact in mind."

I smile and say "Thank you I'll ask my dad about it."

I then circle around the ice a few more times cooling down and then I step off the ice and put my blade covers on.

I walk over and take my skates off and put them in my bag.

I take my phone out and look to see the time. It said 6:15 sigh time to leave my favorite place in the world.

I slip my boots on and hear skates on the ice. I look up confused thinking no one else is ever here this early besides me.

I see this guy in all black on the ice skating around and around. I could tell he was made to be on the ice. His movements were so fluid and smooth. But not only that he turned around and looked straight up at me and I felt my breath catch in my throat.

He had the greenest eyes I have ever seen and his jaw line oh my. To say the least he was gorgeous. I then noticed I was staring and he was staring at me and I quickly looked down blushing gathering my stuff and turned around to leave the rink.
