*Kyle's POV*
I hop on my motorcycle to head home and smile to myself at the thought of Madeline.Dang that girl is something else. I thought she would be quiet serious and no fun at all but boy was I wrong. She's funny, adorable, sarcastic, and an amazing skater.
There is something about her that draws me to her but I can't put my finger on it.
I eventually pull up to my large brand new house on the rich side of town.
I smirk to myself thinking about how lucky I am that my Mom is a nurse and my Dad is a doctor. A match made in heaven those two is what I always say.
I hum to myself opening the front door and yell "Momma I'm home!"
I dump my skate bag next to the front door as my darling husky puppy Charlie races to me.
I just got him a couple months ago and I could not ask for a better dog.
I scoop him up in my arms and say "Hey boy have you had a good morning so far?" As he licks my face with his pink tongue.
I grin as my Mom enters the foyer in her scrubs looking as beautiful as ever.
She glares and points to my skate bag on the floor and says "Kyle James Parker how many times have I told you not to dump your skate bag at the front door."
I smirk and set Charlie down as I kiss my Mom on the cheek. "I will later I promise."
I then turn around and head into the kitchen
She rolls her eyes and follows me into the kitchen "How are you liking your new school and town so far sweetheart? I know it is a big adjustment moving to a new country in the middle of the year."
I grab a carton of milk and pour myself some frosted flakes as I smile at her
"I'm okay Mom. I know the promotion has been good for you and Dad and after what happened a year ago we needed a new change."She nods and sadly looks down as I reach to embrace her kissing her forehead "We'll be okay."
She then backs away and says "Now mister I gotta head to work if that skate bag isn't gone by the time I am home tonight your in big trouble."
I nod "Yeah yeah I will I love you have a good day."
She blows me a kiss as she heads out the door.
I quickly finish off my bowl of cereal and head upstairs with Charlie behind me.
I smile at my little boy giving him a quick pet before I step into the bathroom to take a shower.
My mine is suddenly on Madeline again as I think about what a great time we had today.
I know I haven't known her long but that girl is something else.
I get out of the shower and decide to turn my bad boy persona on again.
I'm not really a bad boy and there is a part of me that cares about school but I don't open up to many people to let them see the other side of me.
At least not after what happened this last year.
Life has changed a lot since it happened.
I sigh and get dressed for school before heading out the door and saying bye to my Charlie.
I hop onto my motorcycle and soon pull up to school.
I look up to see Madeline and this girl with strawberry blonde hair walking into school together.
I laugh to myself seeing what her friend is wearing. She is currently dressed in a marvel avengers sweater and captain America themed pants with black boots.
I then look at Madeline as adorable as ever smiling to myself.
Suddenly a person snapping their fingers in front of my face takes me out of my trance.
I roll my eyes to see my new friend Luke who lives just down the street from my new house.
He smirks at me "Dude your drooling."
I scoff "No I am not I never drool over anyone ever."
Laughing he says "Okay keep telling yourself that buddy. Let's get inside before teachers start yelling."
I nod and follow him inside thinking wait am I actually drooling over someone.
No no it can't be I'm not one to drool and stare at girls. I mean yeah some girls are hot but I don't go around staring if you know what I mean.
It would be bad for my reputation. I only do flings.
I roll my eyes and laugh it off nahhh I just gotta get her out of my head.
Can't ruin the reputation of what everyone thinks is the rude cocky Kyle Parker.
