Cute party outfits and a hero?

Eventually Friday afternoon came and Liz and I couldn't be more excited.

I hadn't seen much of Kyle since our stare down yesterday in the lunch room.

I grab Liz's arm and pull her out to the parking lot.

"Are you ready to get your party on my friend?" She says winking at me.

I laugh "Of course you dork. I will have the best time especially with you as my protector."

We then get in the car and head to my house.

Heading into my room Liz runs to my closet.

"I'm going to make you the most gorgeous girl at this party." She says clapping her hands together.

I groan putting my hands in my face realizing I don't want to be the stand out kind of girl "Lizzzz"

She giggles "No lizzzzing me missy let's make you even more beautiful than you already are."

I reluctantly nod as she starts to search through my dresses.

She pulls out a dress with a black hollow out with lace for the top and a mint green for the bottom.

She throws it at me. I hold it up reluctantly "Liz I haven't worn this one in years. It's probably really short."

She rolls her eyes "Put it on now."

I sigh giving up and head into my bathroom. I put the dress on and smile at myself in the mirror.

The dress was shorter touching the middle of my thigh. But it hugged my curves so well with the bottom flowing down.

I head out of the bathroom and Liz squeals at the sight of me.

"Babe you look hot." Liz says nodding in approval.

I look down unsurely "You sure? I've never worn anything like it before."

She nods "Now time for hair and makeup."

She pulls me over to the sink and grabs my makeup bag. She spends ten minutes doing my makeup and then grabs my curling iron which I rarely use.

"Close your eyes. I don't want you seeing yourself until I'm done." Liz says sternly

I laugh and close my eyes.

Eventually Liz tells me to open and I look at the sight of me and gasp.

My hair is falling down in beautiful curls. My makeup looks gorgeous but not too over the top as Liz put some black eyeliner, mascara, and blueish green eyeshadow to compliment my dress.

I smile "Liz your a miracle worker."

She shakes her head "Nah my lovely I just enhanced your beauty. No miracle here."

I hug her and say "Your the best. Now shouldn't you get ready."

She grabs a white crop top that crosses in the front and black and white striped pants.

I pull out my black heeled sandals as Liz comes out of the bathroom completely ready now.

I whistle at the sight of her "Girlll you are so getting hit on tonight."

She rolls her eyes as we cross our arms and head out. I leave my dad a note on the door before we leave letting him know where we are going.

We jam out to Cardi B on the way to the party and as we get closer I feel more nervous.

Liz smiles at me as we get out of the car "Be confident my lovely you look gorgeous"

I grin at her as we head inside feeling more confident at my best friends words.

I see teenagers all around me making out, dancing, or drinking.

Eventually I make out Jay in the sea of people. And lo and behold Kyle is standing with him and a few other guys.

Jay and Kyle see me at the same time as Liz and I approach them.

"Madeline I am so glad you could make it. Damn you look gorgeous." Jay says to me with a smile.

I blush feeling Kyle's eyes on me as I try not to look at him "Thank you Jay."

I gesture to Liz "This is my best friend Liz."

Jay notices her for the first time as his eyes widen. "Well hello there beautiful. Welcome to my party. Would you like to dance?"

Liz looks in surprise and nods as Jay leads her to the dance floor.

I smile for my best friend and realize now that Kyle is no longer standing where he was.

I roll my eyes and try to find a drink.

I grin as I see punch and pour myself a cup.

I start to drink when I notice Kyle making out in the corner with none other than Britney

I roll my eyes once a player always a player.

I turn around and ignore them as I sip my drink more.

I think it tastes a little funny but I shrug my shoulders and continue to drink it anyway.

I start to notice myself getting a little dizzy and decide took for a bathroom to take a break.

I wander upstairs and suddenly feel a presence behind me.

"Hello there beautiful." Someone leans in uncomfortably close saying into my ear.

I gulp and turn around to see one of Jay's friends standing way too close to me for comfort.

I back away "Um personal space please."

He grabs my waist "I don't know if you know me but the name is Michael. I know you know my bro Jay so I thought it unfair for him to know someone as gorgeous as you without me knowing you too."

I shudder at his words trying to get out of his grip. "Let go of me please."

"Nah baby not until I'm finished." he says nibbling on my ear.

I suddenly feel more dizzy and lose my strength to fight him off.

He lifts me up and finds an empty room trying to take me in there.

I whimper in fear and suddenly feel him being pulled away.

I gasp suddenly at the sight of Kyle shoving him into a wall.
