POV: Jimin
"Jimin, you're so slow at catching up with the latest games!" I got greeted by Jin at school, who was waving a little game console in front of my face as we walked through the front gates. "This is so cool, you know, there are so many games you can play!" he exclaimed."You what?" I asked, not being able to keep up with him. "Slow down, Jin, you're speaking too fast, I can't hear what you're saying, "I shrugged. "Anyway, I don't have the little game thingy, or whatever you wanna call it, so."
"Then get one!" he shrieked, tickling me. "You said you'd get one, like, ages ago! You told me that you were going to get it the moment it came out! Jimin..."
It was true; I was going to get one when it came out- it wasn't a lie. It was just that my dad wouldn't let me: said it was too expensive and wasn't worth it. I listened to him, but after the fact that it sort of became a whole school trend, I was quite shocked when dad said that I still couldn't have one.
"Argh, I don't know, Jin," I huffed, frustrated. "How'd your mum let you get that? They're so expensive, I can't pay for one myself, and I don't have the money fo-"
"Ask your dad, Jimin," he replied, cutting me off. "He's bound to get you one, right?" he prodded me on the shoulder lightly. "Ask him tonight when he comes home from work, yeah?"
"I've already asked him, and he said 'no'. Twice! Did you hear me? He said 'no' to me twice! If I ask him again, he's just going to get super annoyed with me."
His face dropped slightly.
"Yeah, you're right, I don't want to get you into trouble," he turned on the console. "Hey, we can play together until you can get yourself one, how about that?" he offered.
"Yeah, sure, thanks, Jin," I smiled, as he showed me how to play his favourite game. Best friend to the rescue, as always.
My Seokjin.
