POV: Jin
We sat at a nearby bench at a park, after school, playing the game that I had showed him before. The gameboy already had a few built-in mini games, but you could always buy the little game cards and slot those into the console to play more.
I only had a few at that time, and I forgot to bring them with me, so we were just testing out the default games.
He didn't seem to understand the controls as he moved the little pixel character back and forth aimlessly, not seeming to care about the actual gameplay itself.
"Wait, so I just kill these bad guys, then?" he asked, ferociously smashing the buttons on my game boy. "Seems easy enou- no! I died! No! Noooooo!" he cried.
"Ah, Jimin, you were so close!" I sighed, as he died in the game, shaking the console in rage. "It's okay Jimin, you can restart."
"Oh, it's fine," he shrugged, looking around the park. "I don't really wanna play this game anymore."
Literally everyone had the same console- Jimin must've felt really left out, but we could share; that was completely fine with me.
I mean, he's my best friend, and I love him so much, but in a friendly way, of course. Because, I (platonically) love love love love him.
Or, at least I think I do.
Is it more, though?
More than just friends?
More than just this?Every time we would share a smile, I would get a warm, tingly feeling in my heart. Unfortunately, I knew that he wouldn't feel the same way though, so I didn't bother trying.
Was it even worth a try?
