POV: Jin
I stared at the console in Jimin's hand blankly, looking at how damaged it seemed.

"Uhm, is that what it's supposed to look like?" I asked.

"I-I dunno," he shrugged. "Let's turn it on and see, shall we?"

Jimin twiddled with the 'on' switch at the back of the gameboy, and eventually the home-screen loaded. We were greeted with a small dragon mascot giving us a tutorial about how to use the gameboy.

"Oh, a dragon?" I raised an eyebrow. "When I first got mine, I had a sheep, not a dragon!" I chuckled.

"Maybe other people get different animal mascots?" he suggested with a laugh. "Oh, look, it's saying something!"

W E L C O M E !

The word flashed on the screen a couple of times before some of instructions came up.

Of course, we both knew how to use a gameboy so we completely skipped all of the tutorials until we were left on our own to enjoy the games.

"Ooh, what default games do you have?" I asked curiously, looking over his shoulder.

There were a few games, and we scrolled through them. They didn't exactly sound like the happiest of games to me, they almost made me feel really uncomfortable.

Also, I thought it was pretty peculiar how my gameboy didn't actually have any of the same default games as Jimin's one.

• Tasteless Love

"Is this supposed to be a romance game?" Jimin frowned, quickly skim-reading the description of the game.

• Try Calling The Wrong Number

"Genre: 'Thriller', it says. I assume this one is like a crime game."

• The Murderfest Trilogy

"Trilogy?! There's not one, nor two, but three of these games? How is that even possible, this game doesn't even sound that good to begin with!"

• Game Over

"Finally, an action game! Says it's even got a bit of romance and some horror in it, so it sounds pretty cool. I'll read the synopsis just in case, but do you wanna try playing this one?"

"Sure!" I nodded.

"A single-player survival game where your aim is to live. If you even lose the game once, you will die and unfortunately you will not be able to replay it again. You've only got one shot at life, so make sure you use your life strategically. You will play as a reckless man called Jayce, and you will have your best friend/lover girl Sadie join you in your life adventures. If you die alone, you will leave Sadie on her own. However, if Sadie dies, you will die with her, so be careful. Either way, it'll screw you up."

"Damn... seems intense. Play?"

"Play!"
