The Next Day🧡

Ky's P.O.V💭

So yesterday was a major success! My boys are finally one years old. I actually can't believe it! It felt just like yesterday when I had them. They are around the house walking, trying to talk and bad as well, all I need for them to do now it cooperate with me as I potty train them🤦🏽‍♀️ God be with me😭. But all in all their party was amazing. All of my friends came, along with their mans, children, Drew's homeboys and their family. The boys were just running alllll over the place, momma threw down like always, the boys got plenty of gifts, had too much cake and ice cream. Last but not least, Drew and I revealed what we've been working on these past couple of months😉💛. This video should explain it.

Yasssss we are once again pregnant🥰 could y'all tell??? This will be the last pregnancy I go through, because first I had twins🤦🏽‍♀️ and honestly I think 3 kids is good enough I never thought I would have another one after the boys, but hey God works in mysterious ways🤞🏽.

A Month Later💛

Ky's P.O.V💭

I decided to come into the ER today, because every since the boys party, I haven't been feeling right. I've been having night sweats, been extremely tired, sore throats and swollen glands. I honestly think I might have the flu or something, but I'm about to find out for sure. I came to the ER since it's closer and I don't think it's something so serious I need my doctor stressing.

End of P.O.V💭

The doctor came into the room about 15 minutes later with the results.

"So wassup Doc?" I asked.

"Well Ms. Carter. You have CMV."

Drew looked confused, "What's that?"

"Cytomegalovirus."

"And what's that?" I asked.

"Simply it's a virus. Now I'm not going to sugar coat anything. This virus can be passed down to your unborn child through the blood. Since you have this virus it can be treated, but it will always be in you. You can get treated and live a very long time. Now we have caught it pretty early. This isn't a severe case so your baby should be fine. Now 1 out of every 200 babies are born with congenital CMV infection. Only about 1 in 5 babies with congenital CMV infection will have long-term health problems."

"Problem like what?" I asked nervously.

"Vision loss, seizures, developmental and motor delay, hearing loss, and Microcephaly."

"Now what that?" Drew asked.

"Babies born with small heads. Now look, I'm not saying your baby will or won't get CMV. I'm going to contact your regular OBGYN and let them know about your results. I'm going to write you this prescription to treat your virus and we're going to pray for the best for you unborn child."

We nodded our heads in agreement. I'm scared as hell right now, but I know God got us!

May 18th, 2019💚

Kya's P.O.V💭

So today is a huge day for me, even though I may not have my whole support system with me today it's still graduation day🤪. I have went through 3 years to get my Bachelors Degree in Education, which isn't easy. I will be taking my teaching test in about 2 weeks from now so hopefully I can find a job right before the start up of the next school year.

End P.O.V💭

"Knock Knock?! Open up its 5-0!" I heard someone say at the dorm room door.

I went to see who it was and to my surprise it was my manssss🤪! I could have sworn he said he wasn't coming until right before graduation.

"Babesssss!" I said while hugging him.

"Hey baby!"

"Ma?!"

I immediately let go of J to grab my Jazzy Pooh!

"Hey baby! I missed you sooooooo much! Are you glad to be out of school?"

"I missed you more! Yes ma'am. I can't wait. What are we doing this summer? I want to go to the zoo, I want to go to the park, I want to go to water park, I want to go on the road trip, I want to go the pool, I want to-."

J cut her off, "That's enough boo, plus we're already in a road trip baby."

"No another one, we came to get momma to bring her home today so this isn't really a road trip. We can go to Florida or the Bahamamas or to Jamaica or we can go to LA."

J looked at me then back at Jas, "Pause, what you know about Jamaica?"

"TV, duhhhhh Daddy. Stop acting all old."

I just burst out laughing. "Hold up momma, what you know about the Bahamas?"

"Here you go acting all old Ma. Just watch tv." Jas said.

"And it Ba-Ha-Mas. Not Ba-Ha-Ma-Mas Jas." J said.

Jas and I both just laughed at him.

"What made y'all come earlier?" I questioned.

"We just wanted to surprise you. I um- I see all of Dani's stuff is moved out." He said.

"Yeah she moved everything about 2 days ago. I guess she's back in Atlanta."

"Y'all haven't spoke?" He asked.

I shook my head, "Nope. Not really since Valentines. I mean like everything changed. I really wanted to tell her sooner, but I just couldn't do it."

"Baby, don't be stressing over that right now. Your focus needed to be on graduation today nothing else. It's your day beautiful." J said while kissing the top of my forehead.

I just smiled.

Ky's P.O.V💭

As usually, we're running late, but not too late thank God! Drew and King act like they didn't want to get up and drive. We left around 9 last night, but we all went to sleep a little earlier so we could make this ride out here. Those nighas made so many pit stops🤦🏽‍♀️.

"Man come on Ky, ain't nobody got time for you to being doing all this makeup shit!" King yelled from outside the ladies room.

I applied a little more lip liner to my lips, before I exited the bathroom.

"Will you be quiet." I whispered yelled. "Now look we are out in public do not make me act a fool now. Give me your hand Prince."

I grabbed onto Prince's tiny hand as we made our way into the packed football stadium. Man I hope graduation isn't that long, I don't got time to be sweating out my curls I did them just for my boo today.
