Dani's P.O.V💭
It's been about 6 weeks since I last heard from X, I can't lie, I really imagined spending the rest of my life with that man. We are both stubborn bulls, but I can't let him control my life. I've always wanted to play professional basketball since I was a little girl, I never imagined being a housewife nor a 9-5 type of girl. After being in the WNBA, I plan to raise a family and chill out, basketball is the only type of work I want to do. I'm not able to follow X around not doing anything.

"Hey little sis." Diamond said as she sat on my bed.
"Wassup sus?"
"Nothing much girl just got off work, finally."
"Getting that overtime I see."
"I gots to, I got a baby I got to support, everybody ain't on TV playing ball."
"Aye now, it's about to pay some bills watch."
"Hell it better, so Momma can stop asking me for money." We both burst out laughing, knowing good dog on well that won't be happening anytime soon.
"Sooooo, what been up with you and X."
"Girl you need to cut back on that overtime and come home, because you so late."
She tilted her head, "What happened?"
"We broke up..."
"Why?"
"He wanted me to move to Houston, but I told him I wasn't transferring, I got too much on the line."
"So this man was going to pay for school?"
"Yeah."
"And give you a place to stay, rent free?"
"Yeah.."
"And he was your man?"
"Yeah..."
"So what's the problem with that?"
"Diamond. I can't be that committed right now, I would have to pack up my life I have in Waco and go to Houston, possibly hurting my chances at the WNBA and what was I suppose to do if he has to relocate? Just pack up and move too? I'm getting a degree in Journalism, I mean it's cool and all, but that isn't what I want to do."
"Sus, I see where you coming from, but if I were you I would have just taken a chance especially for a dude I loved."
"In love." I mumbled.
"Well excuse me, in love with. Sometimes you got to take chances baby sis. I know it's a little crazy, but it's life, we got to take chances. You can't live your whole life on a plan, baby sis. Plans change all of the time, do you think I planned on getting pregnant? I had plans of going to Clark Atlanta University, becoming a cheerleader, getting my business degree."
I took in what my sister said, but I just can't call him right now.

So today, me and the girls are going out because I haven't seen them in a couple of weeks, every since I got kidnapped Drew hasn't let me out of his sight.

"So girls, y'all ready for school."
"Hell no!" Kya screamed. "I love being at home around my little family." She chuckled.
"Awe." I cooed.
"Well good for you, I'll remember to drown myself in basketball practice." Dani said while rolling her eyes.
