I felt so much better at the end of the week, so I decided to go back on Monday morning. "Morning Megan! How are you feeling?" Lois asked. "Much better thanks. I'm glad whatever that was left." I replied. We talked for two more minutes and sat down to work. "Alright! Everyone listen up!" Perry yelled. "I use a special announcement! Megan Rae is being promoted to Assistant Editor-in-Chief!" Everyone started cheering and clapping as I just stood there, speechless.

After I was all settled in, my phone buzzed. Bruce.
B: Hey. Are you free after work?
M: I am. Why?
B: Meet me at my home at 6:00. I have something I need to tell you. x
M: Kk. xx
Six o'clock finally rolled around and I drove over to Bruce's place. "Hey Bruce. You aid you wanted to talk about something." He nodded. "I've really had a crush on you for a long time and I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?" He asked me. As soon as he asked, I was so happy. "YES!" I cried. He smiled widely and picked me up, laughing and cheering. He put me down and slowly leaned in for a kiss. We kissed and the Sparks immediately erupted. I giggled and cuddled up next to him on the couch. "I love you Megan." Bruce stated, grinning widely. "I love you too Bruce." I said, pecking his lips.
