Chapter Twenty-One

Carmel's POV

We landed on the dessert where Daniele patiently waited for us on the van. We should be landing on the pier but we found it very dangerous because Falcon's mens are probably waiting for us over there and all ready to kill us.

We immediately went inside the black van and rested ourselves in there. I'm glad that Justin has cool friends who can do whatever he wants for a seconds. How could Jy prepared a helicopter a minute after we run ourselves out of Falcon's building?

"Have you successfully withdraw all my money, Dan?" Justin ask.

"Aye, man. I withdrew mine too because I know it's going to be a long hide and seek game." Then he laugh like he is not worried of what's happening.

"What?! What will fucking happen to me now? What will happen to my money?! Oh, no." Jy slapped his hands on his face. We all laugh inside because he wasn't able to withdraw all his money before this shit happened.

"Justin has six suitcase of dollars. I have three and you got two, man." Jy breath out a sigh and smiled. Daniele withdrew his money too, he was just joking to freak him out. Money is his life. I don't have a really damn idea how did he did it? But at-least, we're not going to die with starvation.

"Are okay now, baby?" Justin whispered rubbing his fingers on my spine.

"I don't know why the fuck did you left me there." I whined and everyone went silent.

"How can I call this jerks and prepare all this shits so we could escape faster?"  Okay, my bad. "I already knew what's on his mind, baby. But at least I didn't let him came to the point where  he-"

"Okay, shut up.

Ew."

They all laugh secretly but it's still fucking obvious.

"Can you be more obvious,guys? Wow, I can actually hear you." I rolled my eyes in annoyance and crossed my arms under my chest.

Justin took my head to his chest. "He will pay for this, I promise that." He said and pressed his lips on my forehead.

"How? He's your grandfather. He is the only person left on you?"

"I don't care. I can lose everyone for you."

I raised my head and our eyes met. He reach my lips and gently move his lips on mine. I kissed back.

"Wow, I hate being single." Ariana whispered to herself and turn her head on window. Jy smiled and he look at me asking permission if he could kiss my best friend. I nod my head yes. Jy move his butt closer to her, he took her chin and  surprisingly kissed her.

"Oh, no. You guys should find me pair." Daniele murmured. We all laugh inside and played a good music on the radio.

While they're all singing along with the music I was just staring at the road watching other people living their lives freely-the freedom that I never had for myself.

Justin noticed my silence. He turned my head to him. "I'm sorry. This was all my fault." He admitted and just bowed his head. "Because of me I couldn't give your normal life back. I cannot just left you out there, baby. He could find you wherever you hide. He will never stop hunting us, you."

"What are we going to do now? Where are we going to hide ourselves?"

"We knew a lot of people and friends where we can stay. Don't worry, he doesn't know all of my friends. But now we need to find a city where we could start again. We have to find a city where he can't find us. We can't stay in the united states for too long."

"So, we're leaving America?!"

"Yes, baby."

My mouth hung open. What will happen to my whole life here? My studies, my life, my everything!

"I can give you a better life out here. There's no future waiting for you in here now. Your new life begins, with me." He wrapped his arms around me.

Maybe all this shit was all meant to happen. I may not know the reason why but I need to go on. I need to accept the fact that my life is already in danger and no one will have all the power to help me except Justin. I know he will protect me against Falcon.

Why would you think about the future, Carmel? When you can actually find someone who would spend the rest of your life with you. You do not have family anymore.

But he have hurt you once, he can do it again.

But everyone deserves second chances. Why don't you give it a try?
