" Chase I love you." She states
I return my attention to her. I longed for a girl to say that to me, yet it never seemed to happen.
This was it. This was the moment and I knew what I had to do.
" Skylar will you be my girlfriend?"

Bree POV

I felt myself regaining my strength as my eyes fluttered open, revealing the dim lights of mission command. No sound played other then the noise of Kaz's snoring. I release a silent chuckled while pushing myself up. Kaz and Oliver were still snoring their dreams away in the corner of the room. A part of me wanted to snap a quick picture of the two snoring kids, but my attention was soon diverted when I couldn't see Chase or Skylar in the room.

I jump to my feet walking towards Kaz and Oliver shaking them awake.
" Kaz, Oliver. Wake Up!" I demand shaking them both on the arm
" Five more minutes." Kaz mumbled under his breath, shooing me away.
A water bottle in the corner of my eye caught my attention. I grip the water bottle in my hand before pouring it on both of them. They both woke up in a fright, their eyes widening at the sudden action. Oliver looked pretty mad, but didn't protest.
" Bree what was that for. I was about to kiss....." His voice trailed off as I cut him off.
" Yeah, yeah I don't care. Do you guys know where Chase and Skylar are?" I asked helping the two dripping friends off the floor.

They both shake their heads while glancing around the room.
" Let's check upstairs." Kaz suggested leading us towards the hydroloop. Within a split second we arrived at the top of the penthouse. My eyes wander around the room, trying to find either Chase or Skylar.
" Where could they be?" I growl in frustration
" Ohhhhhh, they could have been abducted by aliens with large razor claws. " Kaz commented acting like a robot 
I shake my head at him lightly punching him in the arm, only to receive a death glare.
" Wait do you guys hear that?" Oliver questioned motioning towards the stairs.
I shake my head, before the sound of laughter reaches my hearing.
" That's Skylar." Oliver shouted excited racing up towards the top of the roof.
Of coarse that's where she was, she loved the roof top.
We reach the door to the large balcony, silently opening the door peering through making sure no one saw us.
Directly in front of us was Skylar and Chase, both staring off into the horizon.
" It's beautiful!" Skylar said leaning closer into Chase's arm
I could feel see Oliver's fists clench at the sight of the two love birds, as Kaz held him back.
" Yeah you are." Chase replied flirtatiously holding her closer.
We still remained silent knowing that Chase could detect us a mile away with his bionic hearing.
After a long moment of silence between the two, Chase suddenly wrapped his arms around Skylar's waist embracing her in a hug.
" Skylar will you be my girlfriend?" Chase asked, his eyes gleaming with a light I had never seen in my younger brother. I couldn't help but to smile at them both, only to be knocked out of my thoughts by the heavy breathing of Oliver.

Skylar remained dead silent her smile slowly getting bigger. She nodded in response all to quickly jumping into Chase's arms.
Chase spun her around by the waist, the sunlight hitting the couple perfectly in the centre, just as they were about to seal their love with a perfect kiss.
Oliver quickly jumped out from behind the door abruptly pushing past Kaz and I.
" CHASE, SKYLAR! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" He demanded, anger and frustration evident in his voice.
Chase and Skylar quickly break a part from each other just as we all reveal ourselves.

" Oliver.... We were just...." Skylar's voice trailed off as she failed to find the words to finish her sentence.
" CHASE DO YOU WANT TO EXPLAIN?"

He raised his head from the ground about to answer only for Kaz to cut him off.
" Oliver just calm down." Kaz comforted resting his hand on his shoulder. Oliver pushed him back forcibly
' NO I WON'T. YOU SAID THERE WAS NOTHING GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TO. CHASE DID YOU LIE TO ME?" He growled approaching Chase, his fists clenched at his sides.

" Oliver......I'm...I'm sorry....I just. I love her." He muttered back.
I couldn't help but to feel sorry for both Chase and Oliver. Chase had never found love and he truly loved Skylar, I could tell through the light in his eyes.However Oliver loved Skylar for so long and for him to see both Chase and Skylar about to kiss must have been hard.

Oliver suddenly launched himself at Chase pushing him to the edge of the balcony.
" CHASE YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN TO DRAW THE LINE, BACK OFF!" He yelled clenching Chase's arm.
I quickly rush to Chase's side prying him free from Oliver's grip, pulling him close to me.

" OLIVER YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN." Skylar screamed at him
Oliver stumbled backwards his eyes shooting death glares at Chase.

" Ohhhh, I'm loving this. The entire team is falling to pieces. I don't think I've ever seen something so beautiful." A voice muttered.
We all turned around to see the Roman, Riker and Razor standing on the edge of the cement railing in fighting positions.

We all collapse to the ground as Razor took to the sky, crashing in between us all forcing us away from each other.
Chase and  Skylar and I were flung into the opposite wall, while Kaz    and Oliver landed roughly on the other side of the terrace.
We struggle to get up before Skylar is caught in the grip of Roman.
We quickly jump to our feet, glaring at the three devious siblings.
Roman's arms choked around Skylar's neck preventing her from gaining any air.
" Let her Go!" Oliver growled launching himself at Roman.
Razor shot lightning from her fingers shoving Oliver to the ground once again.
" OLIVER!" I cry fearfully rushing to his side.
He slowly pushed himself up into slouching position, while Kaz and I rested next the him.
" Well isn't this interesting. We have every one right where we want them." Roman remarked pressing harder on Skylar's neck.

" DON'T TOUCH HER." A voice bellowed
Chase raced towards the Roman, his labor bow activated about to strike the him down.
Suddenly Chase's laser bow interlocked with Razor's swords, as she stood in front of her brother. Riker then gripped onto Chase's hands, pressing them behind his back.

Silence fell over the entire space leaving everyone in a suspenseful fear.
" What do you guys want?" Kaz questioned, as we both helped Oliver to his feet.
" We only came here for one thing. Skylar, the last time I checked you were powerless, and what good times they were." Razor chuckled

" Now because of a special someone, you have those powers back. Isn't that right.......Chase." Razor muttered raising her sword to his neck.

How did she know? Had she been stalking us all this time?
I wanted to launch myself at her to pull her away from Chase, but I knew that with a single flinch and that sword could hurt Chase.
" Leave him alone." Skylar growled, her voice cracking with every word.

" Ohhhh we will, but he just needs to cooperate. Chase if you come with us and no harm will come towards the rest of your team." Riker bellowed
My eyes instantly widened as I heard those words.
" And why would he want to go with you guys, what are you planning?" I asked my voice raising in demand.

" Chase you are going to give our father his powers back. Do that and no harm will come to the rest of your team. Or should I say broken team." Razor remarked pressing her sword against his flesh.

" Chase, don't do it. Don't take the deal." Skylar barley choked out, just as Roman raised his free hand to Skylar activating lightning from his hands.

" Quiet cupcake. Listen Chase all the power is in your hand. What's your choice. Come with us and no harm will come to any of them, including the one you deeply love" She whispered into his ear, motioning towards Skylar.
My heart was pounding out of my chest, and my fear for Chase was only growing stronger.

" Leave......leave them alone. I'll come with you guys." Chase muttered letting down his guard.
My heart shattered into a million pieces.
" Chase, you can't do this." I cry the tears in my eyes threatening to spill.
" You have to stay." Skylar choked out a single tear trickling down her face.
" Too late." Razor cried gripping onto Chase before the four of them all disappeared.
" CHASE!" Skylar cried before and explosion erupted forcing us all in into a world of darkness.
