Third person POV
"Great! Just meet me there at midnight!" Those were the last words everyone heard from Tim. Well, that was many, many hours ago now.
Lena, Jen and Lizzie spent many hours with the police force, figuring out a plan of attack, but now they had to play the waiting game. "What if they don't show up?" Lena and Jen were hidden behind some of the large trees, keeping a close eye on Lizzie as she stood near the cliff, which is where she and Tim first met, almost nine years ago.
"Trust me, they will. We need to stay silent though, so sh." Lena whispered, looking at their surroundings. The sound of a car driving up could be heard, Lena stepped back a little so she was hidden much better.
Lizzie greeted Timothy with a smile and pulled him in for a welcoming hug, she said the lines Lena told her to say, so he wouldn't suspect anything. "But we aren't alone tonight~" Timothy chuckled and the passenger door opened, and out came Alex. Lizzie stayed silent, the fear settling in the pit of her stomach.
"Why did you kill Gemma?" She asked, looking at Timothy with tears prickling the corners of her eyes. "She was a sweet innocent girl who did nothing wrong to you." Timothy took a step forward, to which Lizzie back up a little.
"Yes she did, I have seen the way she looks at you sometimes." He looked at Alex and nodded a little, who pointed the gun at Lizzie. "She has always loved you, and then you went and played along with her silly fantasy~"
Lena grabbed Jen's arm and stepped out of hiding, clearly the two men weren't expecting this to happen at all. Alex's gun held hand started to shake a little, seeing his wife stood there, the anger and pain was showing in her face.
Timothy growled and snatched the gun of Alex, and aimed it to where Lizzie's heart is. "Say goodbye!" The trigger was pulled. But it wasn't Lizzie who shot...
