Chapter 6

Everything was normal for the next few weeks, no lifes were in jeopardy, nobody was mad at anyone, and everyone was acting normal.

I was playing Dance Revolution II with Alexa, and trying beat her high score. *Beep beep beep* "Game over" said the game, "Dang it Alexa, how come your so good at this?!" I yelled. Today was my day off from the arcade and we were hanging out at the arcade, weird right?

"I don't even know, I just really like the game!" she exclaimed, "Whatever, let's get some pizza, I have a discount." I told her, "Okay, let's get one with extra cheese," she said, "Deal," I told her.

"Man, I'm glad you aren't a vegan," We were now at the table eating some pizza. Alexa looked above my head and her eyes lit up, "I'll be right back." she said getting up, I looked back to see her walking towards the stairs, but I didn't see anyone.

I was finishing up my third (don't judge me) peice of pizza, when Blake and Corealine appeared, "Oh hey guys," I said turning around in my seat, "Oh geez, here we go," said Blake with a worried face, "What? What is it?" I asked frantically, "Something happend to Alexa!" exclaimed Corealine, "This guy suggested I prescribe your help." Corealine said pointing at Blake, "Well, we have saved her 2 other times." I said with a smug face, "Whatever, let's just go." said Corealine, and with that, we went.

We walked down the hall and we're about to turn a corner, when Corealine said: "I think it was this way," pointing the other way, "Umm... let's just go this way," said Blake, "Fine whatever, I'll go this way." she said, going the other way. We walked down the hall a little farther to the science room. "Dejavu anyone?" asked Blake, we chukled and went in. "Wait what? No one's here!" I exclaimed, "Maybe Corealine was right." said Blake, I nodded and we went.

We walked towards where Corealine went, which lead to the Gym. We entered to see Alexa, she was floating. Her eyes were shut and her eyelids were red from crying. "Wha- how- what?" "Alexa are you okay?" I called, her eyes shot open, "Kason run!" she yelled, but before I could respond a hodded figure appeared beside her. "So... you found her. What now?" asked the figure, "Save her?" they asked, "Ummm.. kinda what we were planning." I told it, "Well think again." said the figure, then I violently threw Alexa to the wall. "Alexa!" "Oh she's fine, so how'd you know she was here?" asked the figure, "We went the way of our friend... Corealine... Where the heck is she?" I asked, "Don't you mean-" she took her hood off to reveal: "Me?"

There she was, Corealine. Floating in the air. "Look who wasn't expecting this, wasn't it obvious? Oh wait, I guess it wasn't." she said, "How?" Blake asked, "Simple, the first time it was just plain timing, I saw an opportunity and took it. Just as you make a mistake, I milk it. The second time wasn't so easy. I was gonna do something when I noticed bloody clothes under your bed, but I missed the opportunity." she explained, "Wait that was you who sent her?" I asked, she nodded, "Anyways, with the fire, that was when Alexa knew it was me." she said, glanceing at Alexa, who was now floating in the air, "You knew?!" I asked, she nodded sadly, "This whole time, I knew something was up, I wanted to expose you, but I couldn't find your weakness, I couldn't find what was up, so I decided, use Alexa. When that didn't work I decided to use myself, and here we are." she explained. "Your a monster." I told her, "Is that so?" she said then cocked her head.

"Now, if you don't confess, I'll kill Alexa." she said meliciously, "No don't!" I yelled, "Then what should I do instead?" she asked, "Take me." I said, "Are you sure?" she asked, "Kason, don't please-" "Shut up!" yelled Corealine, "I'm sure." I said confidently, "Alright, to the roof." she said.

I stood on the roof looking down at Blake, Corealine, and Alexa, who was crying. Corealine lifted her hand, "Ready?" she yelled, I nodded, and with that, she pushed me.

I was plumeting to the ground when I finally hit it. I looked down at my legs and then up at Corealine and smiled. The particles started up. I kneeled down on the ground and had one down to the ground. "What?! Impossible!" yelled Corealine, as the particles cleared I waited a second and looked up at them. Alexa in awe, Blake giving me a thumbs up and Corealine fuming in rage.

"Aww... did your plan backfire? I guess you still haven't found weakness, only my strength." I said tauntingly,"Grrr... this isn't over!" she yelled storming off. Me and Blake high fived and Alexa looked up at me, "Your a-" "Oh shoot..." said Blake, "Alexa follow us." I said, "Okay," she said getting up and following us.
