He Brought Me Home-Chapter 4

(Jason's POV)

I strain my ears outside and start to hear a pair of paws move farther away. I start to hear a male voice outside calling orders "Secure the perimeter! Get the pack doctor now! Rose is injured!" That got my wolves attention and he pushed to be free.

I try pushing him down and growl "What are you doing!?"

"My mate is hurt and I will kill who ever hurt her. Let me out so we can find the mutt." He pushes even harder.

I take deep breaths but he keeps pushing forward. I smell Rose out and find blood, her blood mixed with her scent. I also lost it and pulled the bars apart ignoring the burn. I slip through and find a scratched up Rose on a stretcher put in back of a truck. Just before they speed off I hop in back next to a older man and a unconscious Rose.

The older man glanced back at everyone then at me and I shake my head. He waits until we're out hearing range "Who are you?"

I grab Rose's hand "Her mate, my name is Jason." I stick my non occupied hand to him and he takes it.

"Todd, Dr.Todd" I smile and nod.

We stop in front of a large brick building and two nurses come running out and pull Rose out of the truck. I quickly follow and a nurse tells me stay and wait here. I start to pace after 2 hours of sitting and finally a nurse comes out "Rose Danielson"

I walk to the nurse "How is she?"

The nurse smiles "She'll be a little sore but she'll live. Rose had 4 broken ribs, left arm broken, and half of her neck was gone. We reset her ribs and arm bones so the can start healing. Her neck is already healing so she should be going home by the end of the week."

I sigh and drag my hands down my face "Thank you can I see her."

The nurse nods and leads me down multiple hallways then stopping at a white door "She's resting this is her room." With that she left.

I walked in and pulled a chair next to her bed and over lapped my hands over hers and sat there. My wolf, Greg growled "Let's find the mutt that did this!" I think back to who could have done this.

~Flashback~

A familiar wolf slowly creeps in and stands in front of my bars "Glad to see you well Alpha." Sam mind links with a hint of amusement.

I smile "Same to you, but you need to get out of here."

"Why?"

"I found my mate and we are planning a escape plan and we should be putting the plan into action by the end of the week." I explain.

Sam's eyes widen "The pack needs you now, Jason. They can't wait a week the hunters and rouges are getting dangerously close to our territory."

"I'm not leaving my mate here she will get punished I know it, she is in charge of guarding me."

Sam heightens his senses "Where is she now?"

I shrug "She doesn't tell me everything."

Sam makes a quick attempt to break the bars but then Rose jumps down from her hiding spot.

~End of Flashback~

Our beta? Did this? I hear a gasp and growl behind me. I just sit there with my hands around Rose's cold ones. A mans voice asks "Why are you here?"

I stare at Rose's relaxed face knowing I was the reason she's like this, my eyes start to water "I'm here for Rose."

A woman, that looks like a older version of Rose walks to the other side of Rose and looks into my eyes. Her face softens and walks next to me and gave me a hug. I was shocked but after a few moments and cautiously hugged her back. The man growls "What do you think your doing, Marie!?"

Marie pulls out of the hug "Welcoming Rose's mate."

My eyes widen and look at the mans facial change shock,confused,realization, and most of all anger. He points at me "He is a low life scum not our daughters mate."

My Alpha tone slips through a little "Watch who your calling a scum."

"Who are you really?"

"Jason Folger, but to my pack they call me Alpha Folger."

Then man has shock shoot through his face "Y-you w-weren't lying in the dungeon?"

"No my pack got attacked but hunters and we just needed some resources. Then when we crossed your land and got attacked so here we are." I explain.

Marie smiles at me "Welcome to the family, Jason Folger."

I nod and sit next to Rose's barely moving body and her parents occupy her other side. We sit in silence until I hear "Jason?" In my head recognizing it's Sam.

I growl "What the fuck do you want?"

I can feel his shock "Are you alright?"

"Hmm let me see 1.My mate is in the pack hospital 2.I figured out that your the one who put her there and 3.I'm looking at my mates pale and lifeless body! HOW DO YOU THINK I AM!?"

"What are you talking about I put her there?"

Sighing I reply "The golden wolf was my mate. Don't bother coming to 'rescue' me again tell the pack I will be returning with their Luna in a week." With that I block everyone off and focus onto Rose and her slow heartbeat.

(Rose's POV)

Why do I hear water rushing? Why can't I see anything? Where am I? How did I get here? Who is the cause of this?

I hear a giggle "Stop thinking so hard Rose you might hurt yourself."

This time I'm able to pry my eyes open and find a woman with flowing blonde hair, black eyes, with all the right curves, and about my height.

The woman continues "To answer some of your questions I am the moon goddess and I am the one that brought you here." She wraps a arm around me and starts leading me to a unknown destination "How are you feeling?"

"Amazing, strong, and hyper" I reply bubbly.

The moon goddess just smiles a little "Good to hear my sweet girl." We stop in front of a copper bowl full of a blue liquid "Think about what do you want to see the most and then watch."

I focus on Jason and look into the bowl finding him next to my body while my parents are on the other side of the bed. I look closer at Jason finding dark circles under his eyes. I gasp "How long have I been gone!?"

"5 days"

I flip to my goddess "Why am I here?"

"I have a....uh.....proposition for you. You can return to your mate or you can come join me up in the heavens and watch over the world and choose peoples mates."

"Why do you want me to join you?"

"Your simply have the characteristics and personality of a goddess. You can also protect Jason from any harm while your with me."

"I will only cause him pain if I leave him, my goddess."

My goddess smiles "Clever, so your choosing to return to your life?"

I nod and smile back "Thank you." Then everything went black.
