(Rose's POV)

Finally after 30 mins the last few pack members file into the room. When the doors are shut Jason clears his throat to get everyone's attention before starting "Thank you everyone for coming on such short notice but there are a few very important announcements. I want everyone to know that I have found my mate and your luna, Rose been informed recently that there will be a war coming closer a war between the packs and rouges. I called all the packs and informed them also of the war and we have all come to a agreement that we all need to come together to defeat them. I expect each individual in this pack to be on their best behavior to the other packs. Your not only representing the pack but me and how I take care of you guys. Now any questions?"

I watch as a hand shoots up and Jason nods "Where will the gathering be taking place?"

"In our guest houses considering we are the strongest and biggest pack. Good question, any other questions?" Jason replies.

Someone calls out "When will this be happening?"

"In one week will be when the first pack arrives." Jason answers.

We wait for a few seconds until Jason "If that is all your questions then your dismissed."

Everyone chants "Yes, Alpha" before everyone starts leaving.

I watch everyone leave and see Jason look at me which makes me look at him and smile. I grab his hand and laugh a little "I think that went pretty well."

Jason smiles back and puts his arm around my waist "Yes it went very well."

I smile wider "What's the plan for the rest of the day"

Jason's smile dropped a little bit and he sighs "I have some pack work to do."

I sigh but kiss his lips quickly "Okay but don't be too long."

He kisses my forehead then leaves for his work. I sigh before someone tugs on my pants, making me look down to look at a little girl with blonde curls. I crouch down and smile "Hello, what's your name?"

She blushes and looks down before I hear her speak "Grace"

"That's a pretty name, why did you tug on my pants?" I ask.

Grace looks up quickly making her curls bounce "My mommy and daddy are busy so I have nobody to play with. You looked lonely too so I thought we could play together."

This makes me smile "That sounds like a great idea." With that Grace grabs onto my pants and starts to tug me in a direction. "Where are we off to Grace?"

She smiles but keeps walking "My favorite place to play." I nod and just follow her into the woods that surround us until we reach a clearing with a shed in the middle.

I look around "How did you find this place?"

She giggles "My mommy and daddy took me here one day for a family picnic."

Grace starts to run to the shed and I run after her and call out "Be careful!"

I see her trying to open the door but has difficulties so I help her open it and I see toys everywhere and gawk at the over filling chests and see Grace already digging through a chest. She pulls out a tea set and puts it on the table in the corner that I didn't notice before.

I smile "Do you want to have a tea party?" Grace nods and for the next couple of hours we played until she fell asleep. I put her toys away quietly before I pick her up and walk away from the shed. I walk for about a min watching the little girl in arms sleeping.

(Jason's Pov)

I walk out of my office exhausted from finishing the paper work and start towards our bedroom but on the way I get a mind link "Alpha, there are rogue's in the woods."

I give him orders to get the women and children to the safe house as I start running to get Rose but when I get to the room it was empty. I mind link my beta "Rose is missing, find her and send out our warriors."

I quickly run out of the house and shift as soon as I'm out the door. I track her smell and follow it into the woods.

(Rose's POV)

I've been walking around the woods, carrying Grace, for about 10 mins before I hear the sound of something running towards me. I look around quickly hide Grace inside a tree. The sound is louder now and soon I see three rouges running towards me. I shift while they surround me, snapping at me. I growl back and watch them get closer as I get in a defensive position.

Soon one lunges at me but a wolf tackles it that I recognize as Jason. My wolf takes over and turns to the two as they snarl at me. I lunge for one and quickly nip at its back paws. I watch the other one coming towards me but knock the first rouge into the one coming towards us and they fall over each other. They get up and circle me but soon one runs towards me, I dodged the rouge but the other rouge tackled my side.

I fly into a tree with a yelp and fall to the floor. My side hurts when I try to get up but fall back to the ground. The two of them come towards me and look at Jason as he kills the rouge he tackled. He looks back at me and sprints over but not before they slashed my stomach.

I howl in pain and Jason quickly finishes them quickly as I watch them as my eyes close. I soon hear Jason run over and nudges me with his nose. I open my eyes a little and look up at him. Jason shifts back and I soon follow, not caring that we were naked, he picked me up. I look at him "Don't forget Grace." I pointed to the tree I hid her in. He quickly grabbed her and she is still asleep so he puts her on top of me and picks us both up.

I whimper but hold onto her as he ran until we get to the pack house. I heard people gasp as he runs in telling them to get the pack doctor but I got so tired I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
