He Brought Me Home-Chapter 9

So it's been a week since Jason told me what he was feeling and it's been good. We finally got to move all my stuff into Jason's place and set up. Sam and Cate moved into Sam's and usually comes over when Sam and Jason have pack business. So at the moment Cate is sitting with me on the couch with a tub of chocolate ice cream between us watching American Horror Story. After a few hours later the tub is empty so I toss it in the trash before grabbing the car keys and walking to the entry way of the living room "Cate, I'm gonna go out to get more ice cream be back in 10."

She nods and continues on with the show as I go and start the car before heading my way to the local store. I quickly run in and found what I came for so I pay and get back into the car but before I could pull out of the parking lot a woman with flaming hair taps on my window.

I roll down my window just enough to hear the woman "I wouldn't be driving if I were you."

I raise a eyebrow "Pardon?"

"Something bad is going to happen to you." With that she's gone in a blink of a eye.

I turn in my seat and see no sign of her "Ok that doesn't make me feel like I'm gonna be killed tonight." I pull out of the parking lot and head back to the house.

I stop at a stop light and start flipping through the radio stations. The car behind me honked so I press on the gas and feel the car start moving forward. Only to feel my car door dent inwards and my car flip onto it's side. I can feel glass cutting my exposed skin and my seat belt cutting into my shoulder and neck. Along with my head hurts and my dented door grazing my side as I flip. When everything stopped I barely can open my eyes and hear the sirens of my savior. Before I shut down I push through Jason's and my mind link "Help me" then darkness swallowed me.

When I came back around I am on a stretcher and am rolling towards a ambulance. I hear buzzing before hearing "What happened!? Let me through that's my girlfriend!" It's Jason.

The people by me saw I was waking up and Jason saw it too. A cop let him through and he gets to my side in no time. I try and smile before I am lifted into the ambulance and Jason sits next to me with another guy. I lay there as Jason holds one of my hands in both of his while keeping my knuckles to his mouth. Jason asks the guy "What happened?"

The guy looks up from his clipboard "I don't know I heard some witnesses say it looked like a hit and run, but besides that I'm clueless." I lost myself to the darkness again after hearing that.

(Jason's POV)

I walk towards the shack where I can smell blood from a mile away. I open the door and see silver nails holding two pack members up on the wall through their ankles, shoulders, hands, and ears. They are both bloody and full of wounds and I see someone wrote "Watch out." On the other wall.

This made me furious along with my wolf, who would do something like this to people. I also hate being threatened by some unknown person. I search for a scent only to pick up the dead pack members. I punch the wall and order the five other pack members that came with me "Take the pack members off the wall and get them to the pack house and clean them up then send others to clean up the blood." I walk out and into the forest and start thinking of the message.

Halfway to the pack house I hear Rose's voice "Help me" before having our link cut off. I find her scent then start running through the forest and come up on a road with a car accident in the middle and I figure out this is where Rose is when I see her on a stretcher towards a ambulance. I try running to her only to be stopped by a cop making me almost lose it.

I controlled myself before asking "What happened!? Let me through that's my girlfriend!" I see Rose's eyes on me and the cop lets me through. I run to her before getting in the ambulance with her and the paramedic.

When we arrive to the hospital they take her into the ER but they keep me in the waiting room for hours before coming out and call her name. I quickly stand up "How is she!?"

He looks down at the clipboard "She is currently stable, five broken ribs, left arm broken, few cuts none are too deep, and has a concussion. She will heal with time, right now she is unconscious and we gave her some pain relievers."

I nod "Can I see her?" And he leads me to the room where Rose lays. Once he shows me he leaves and I take a seat next to her. I lay my head next to our intwined hands, praying and watching for any site of her waking up.
