He Brought Me Home-Chapter 8

I get dressed after my shower in dark blue skinny jeans with combat boots and a tank top and sweatshirt before sitting in front of my mirror starting to brush my hair out. I see Jason come up behind me, still covered in paint and kiss the top of my head "I'm gonna get you back later for hiding from me."

I raise a eyebrow at him before he heads in the bathroom to take a shower. I finish untangling my hair and go downstairs finding Cate alone "Where is Sam?"

She smiles at me "He's probably working on some pack work that Jason assigned him."

I grin at her "Good because I have a idea."

Cate grins back "I like the sound of that."

I go to the garage while grabbing my car and motorcycle keys. I toss the car keys to Cate and head over to my motorcycle "Let's go to the mall."

She squeals and runs to the car before getting in and starting it. I start my motorcycle and back out heading for the mall with Cate following. We find parking spots and quickly run inside "Our mates are gonna be so pissed!" Cate says.

I nod "I know but still it's kind of a turn on plus we're just messing with them."

She giggles "Ok where to first?"

For the next hour we shop in various stores and we were about to go get food but then I feel someone trying to get in my mind link so I let them in "Rose! Finally I've been trying to contact you for a long time." I hear Ted in my head

I smile "Hey Ted what's up?"

"Oh nothing much but YOUR MATES TEARING UP THE PLACE TRYING TO FIND YOU!"

I wince "Tell them you saw us leave." I block everyone again.

I smile at Cate who looked at me concerned "What's going on?"

"Their looking for us, but I think we have time for food."

We sit in the food court and eat before heading into Victoria Secret.

~30 mins later~

Cate pops open the trunk and grab our bags before we head inside to see two wolves sniffing around the house. I recognized it was our mates making me laugh and them to look at us and sprint to us. Jason jumps on me making me yelp and fall along with Cate except with Sam. He just growls a little and and licks my face making me laugh, put my hands up, and squeal "No! Stop! Don't lick my face!"

He just licks me still before shifting back and hugging me, nuzzling his nose into my neck "Thank god your alright. You had me scared to death why did you leave?"

I point to the fallen bags "We just went shopping, no big deal."

He sighs "I would've felt more assured if you had me or one of the others with you."

I roll my eyes before walking out the front door again. I can hear a pair of feet walking behind me quickly before hearing Jason call "Where you going now?"

I just shift and sprint into the woods surrounding us pushing my wolfs stiff muscles. I run through multiply streams and rivers, even ran under a waterfall to make sure he wouldn't follow me. I finally make it to my heaven, which happens to be a hole that gets bigger with some of my belongings inside.

When I was going through a tough time where I resorted myself to self harm. That soon stopped doing anything to me so I went berserk when I was pushed too far and only saw red but my wolf saw clearly. Before I could harm anyone she took over and took me here and dug this before letting me back in control. She made me listen to her reason to do this and I'm still in her debt to this day.

I came here to think or to calm down and right now I need to do a little bit of both. Jason just ticked me off when he said I always need someone with me at all time, that made me feel weak. I just need to think this entire thing through before I make any decision for my future.

I laid in the dirt and just stayed there for hours until I checked outside seeing the sun setting. I knew I couldn't stay out here any longer I climbed out and cover a gate that covers the entrance before sprinting back.

Once I finally got there I saw Jason sitting on the porch out back and his head rise when I step out of the forest, he has tears in his striking eyes.

I whimper and keep my tail between my legs as I trot to him. When I finally reach him he puts his hand on my head and smiled sadly before sobbing into my shoulder. I shift back to myself and hug him back tightly with tears silently going down my face. I also feel my shoulder getting wet but I don't care I can feel how much pain my mate is in and I will get to the bottom of it. After a few mins I quietly ask "Please tell me what's wrong?"

He pulls back with red rimmed eyes "My entire life I've been waiting to find my mate but now that I have her I don't know what's right or wrong decisions. I don't even know how to treat you because I know if I treat you terribly you will leave me but I don't want to smother you."

I smile sadly "Just be yourself that's all I ask and ask my opinion before you make those types of decisions."

He nods and hugs me "I love you so much I just don't want to lose you."

I sniffle "I love you to and you will never lose me."

Jason pulls back and clears my face of my tears before noticing I'm naked and his eyes get a glow "I suppose you want some clothes although I like you without them."

I laugh and nod "Yes I would like some clothes." Right as I finish my sentence he pulls his shirt off and holds it out to me. I grab it and slip it on and see it almost reaches my knees "Thanks."

Jason smiles "Anything for you my love" he wraps his arm around my shoulders and kisses my head.

I smile at him as we head inside and I feel like life is falling into place and it feels great but all good things have to come to a end.
