Three days later

"What?! Another three inmates died of cardiac arrests...Wait repeat that...so they didn't die of..No...suspicious behavior?" I hear well the whole task heard of Kira's new killings.

Hmm so Kira using the Death Note to cause a slight change before they were scheduled to die of a heart attack...

What's his game.

Logging in Chief already placed their deaths additional with photographs of the scene.

An upside down pentagon drawn in blood by one of the inmates.in his cell.
The other escaped his cell but was found collapsed in the washrooms.
And the last was someone who left a suicide message in fear of Kira.
....

No way... Kira is really revealing more what the Death Note could do.

It's not just causing a heart attack for the person to die but controlling their actions as well.

Keeping my composure and held my position normal but my fist were hidden under my desk on my lap.

It's obvious Kira is playing L.
Just couple of days ago when we clarified that possibility that Kira is a student the next day there were murderers practically every hour.
But that isn't Kira's message...it was that he can control death.

This is just clarifying L suspicion. He didn't mention because he mostly believes there is a leak here....
And I know he's been watching us...
Mugen warned me before heading home that cameras were placed in my apartment...everywhere.

I started blushing,

Showering became so difficult...I know he's doing his job but still!

And now this note...

"L did you know..."

'This Kira is something not sure if he smart or stupid ", Mugen mused.

I can't help but think how idiotic this Kira person is but I can't do say anything it's too much to process.
I got up my seat making a good detective and wrote on my white board.

There isn't any progress, its obvious L doesn't trust us, and the task force might not trust L...this is Kira's game...we are literally falling into a trap.

Let's see who's the first to submit.

Time Skip

I was eating lunch on my desk because of the case was obviously stressing Chief out, I can tell Aizawa and Mogi were concerned especially Matsuda.

"Matsuda do you want a bite?", I asked holding out the other half of my BLT sandwhich.

He had his left side of his face on his desk looking down cast. Perked him up a bit as he he got up looking happy receiving a sandwich.

'Where's my apple? ' Mugen asked.

I opened my green canteen , only filling it up half way as I was taking a drink I gave a direct look.

Mugen knows I make sure put come apples in the breakroom, it's usually active with other departments.

My eyes keep wandering to Chief,  he ran a frustrating hand through his hair as he looked at his computer.

Maybe I should say something to Chief and L....

'No, Ayame', Mugen said' Im not sure how humans can accept this. You can explain but it'll be a huge miracle if someone like L believes something he would think as ridiculous.'
