The GENEREX

Chapter 1

*** JAKE'S POV ***

"Wake up Jake!"
I suddenly hear someone trying to wake me up. I open my eyes and jump off the bed quickly.

"Wow that was fast! Just one call and you're awake! I'm sure this is an effect of the GENEREX.", aunt Carla tells me.

"So you tried to wake me up only once? That's cool.", I said.

After that aunt Carla told me to brush my teeth and get down for breakfast. So, as usual I went to the bathroom.

I started to think about my dream, my memory. I thought I was going to cry, but I couldn't. The tears wouldn't just come out from my eyes.

As I turned the nozzle of the water tap, I could hear the sound of the water rushing from the tank. Moreover, I could hear a couple fighting from the third floor, whereas I was in the eighteenth floor. I think that happened because of taking the GENEREX. It must have improved my hearing skills.

After brushing I went to the dining room. I had my breakfast and me and aunt Carla went to the DYCL. The guard escorted me to the military preparation room. (MPR). He told aunt Carla to wait in the waiting room.

I enter a big room with seven people sitting., all of them approximately 16 years old like me.

There was an empty chair, which was probably for me. There was one girl. She was the most beautiful person I ever saw.
As I sat on the chair, she introduced herself to me, "Hi. I'm Vivian Heidenburg. I am an ALERA. Nice to meet you. What's your name?"

"Umm, I'm Jake. I'm a GENEREX. Nice to meet you too.", I replied.

"Oh my gosh! You are the GENEREX?! I am so glad to meet you. I hope we can be awesome friends!", she says to me.
After that the general comes in...

*** THIRD PERSON POV ***

After Jake talks with the other chemical holders the general enters the room.
Everybody stands up to greet him.
The general tells everyone to sit down.

Then he starts to talk, "Hello everyone. I am General Dave, and I am here to tell you all the reason behind all of these injections.
Here it is, " *clears his throat*, "by now, all of you have thought that you all were very lucky enough to be chosen for the for the experiments. Well, that is not the truth. The thing is tha..."

"What do you mean by that is not the truth?", a boy interrupts the general.

The General replies, "Wait Jason I am coming to that. Please do not interrupt me while I am talking. As I was saying, the truth is that all of you have been marked, or chosen since your childhood. You see, we have been monitoring you since your childhood. Think of it yourselves, all of you have lost at least one of your parents. Some of you have lost your fathers, or mothers, and even both. All of you were told that they died fighting for the country. Is true or not?"

Everyone replies, "Yes."

The general continues, "well, it is actually true. Your parents have died fighting for the country. But not only that, they were fighting for the whole world. Now comes the part about your parents' history. All of your parents who have died were experimented on the chemicals which are flowing in your blood now. But at that time, the chemicals were unstable, and the subjects were 14 years old at the time of the experiment. Thus, leading to the side effects of being incompatible. There only two GENEREX tests, six ALERA tests, and six SEGERO tests. From all of them, only half of the subjects survived, who were your parents, while the others turned evil and berserk. The compatible GENEREX subject was Jake's father. I can only say upto this much about your parents, the rest are written in details in the documents on your desks. Do you all have any more questions?"

Everyone replied "no" while Jake was the only one who replied "yes".

"Yes Jake, what is your question?", the general asked.

"My question is that, I get it that our parents were the subjects and all of that, but why are we being experimented on?", Jake replied.

"Oh yes I almost forgot about that. You see, the people who turned against us because of their incompability are still free. Only some of them were executed, while the others are still being searched for. And we have not experimented on you all, but injected these chemicals in you for a reason, and the reason is that you all will have to kill these bad people out there. From the day you were injected, you all became the most intelligent and strong people of the world. And now with your intelligence, strength, ability to heal quickly, strategy and other enhanced abilities, you have to hunt them down. You all are now the members of the ENEXA. It is the advanced group which your parents had created. And after a lot of discussion, Jake is conferred upon the leadership of the ENEXA. We will have a formal attack planning meeting in the future. Any more questions?", the general replied back quickly.

"Yes just one question please.", a SEGERO boy Jason raised his hand and said.

"What is it Jason?", the general asked, now tired of explaining.

"If I have healing powers and extreme strength, then why am I still skinny? I mean I literally broke off my commode while trying to flush the toilet, whereas I was doing it with my skinny fingers. Also, why weren't we given the GENEREX?", Jason asked.

The general replied, "Jason you have to understand one thing, these chemicals do not create new cells in your body, instead they just enhance them. And you people except Jake were not injected with the GENEREX because you weren't compatible. As Jake is the son of a late GENEREX holder, he is 100% compatible. Okay now this meeting is dismissed you may all go. I have other business to do."

After that everyone gets out of the room and introduce themselves to each other.

While they were having their meeting, Jake's aunt went to shopping and Vivian's mother was in the hospital, and her father would pick her up after and hour. So Jake and Vivian talked for a long time. They might have even developed a little admiration for each other.

After a lot of talking and chatting Jake's aunt came to pick him up. Just before he was about to go, Vivian quickly tore a little part of her notebook and wrote her number in it, which she gave to Jake.

"See you next time then", Jake told to Vivian in a rush.

"Okay bye.", Vivian replied.
After more fifteen minutes Vivian's father came to pick her up.

"I have something to talk to you about, about something you never told me.", Jake said to his aunt on the way to their home...
