Chapter 4

"Good Morining ENEXA!", the general greets everyone.

"Good morning general.", everyone greet back.

"Everyone, please be seated. Except for the civilians you have brought with yourselves. Our guards will escort them to the waiting room. There are a lot of things to do in there. There are games, sports fields and many more.", the general says.

All the civilians who came with the chemical holders exit the room.

"Excuse me general, but why did you send them out?", Iris asked the general.

The general replies, "You see Iris, I always have a reason behind my actions. I have sent them out because this is a military meeting and the things you are about hear is classified. Okay?"

"Okay jeez I was just asking.", Iris replied.

The general said, "Now, everyone. I have prepared a mission for you all. Now listen carefully to everything I say. Some powerful terrorists are trying to launch some missiles to Los Angeles. They have already taken over the silos at Siberia. You all will have to go to a classified zone to make your plan.I don't know what you'll do but it must be successful. Your objective is not only to diffuse the missiles but to also track out the terrorists. You all have to come back at 12:00 pm to go to the classified zone. Remember, Jake is your alpha. So don't disobey to anything he says. You may ask questions if you want."

The room was quiet. But after a while Vivian stood up.

She asked, "How do you know all of this general? How in the world did you know that they are launching missiles? Our satellites haven't picked up a thing."

The general replied, "There's a reason I am made the general Vivian. Meeting dismissed. You all may meet your friends."

"Something's wrong.", Vivian murmured.

After the meeting everyone went to the waiting room to see their friends. Nobody told anything about the meeting. After a while, Jake approached Vivian.

He said, "Vivian. I need to talk to you. Let's go to a secluded place."

"Okay.", Vivian said with a sweet and shy smile on her face.

Before going, Iris whispered to Vivian, "Ooh. First meeting and already chemistry? You both are so cute together!".

"Shut up Iris.", Vivian replied.

Jake and Vivian went around a corner.

"Okay now tell me what is it?", Vivian asked.

"You were right Vivian. Something IS wrong the general. I'm suspecting him. Remember, whatever happens, think before believing his words. I think I'll have to investigate.", Jake replied.

"Okay.", Vivian replies.

After having the talk, they go back to their friends. They all have fun together.

Then a guard comes and says, "It is time for the ENEXA to go for their mission. The civilians will be dropped at their homes by us."

The ENEXA bid their friends farewell and separate...

***JAKE'S POV***

After we left our friends, we all went to the meeting room. Then the general led us outside through another way.

When I stepped outside, I saw many military people with big guns in their hands. Snipers were also set in tall towers. Then some highly armoured cars drove up to take us. These cars were humvees.

Four humvees drove up for the eight of us, with two people allowed inside. After I sat on the seat, Vivian came in. She sat beside me.  The trip was to Philadelphia. I was actually happy that we didn't have to leave New York because I didn't want to go too far away from aunt Carla.

The trip was of two hours, so most of the time I was thinking about stuff such as can we use the kinetic energy of a fan and turn it into electrical energy.

Even Vivian had some pretty cool thoughts. And we both made out the formula on how to make guns out of wood. She said we needed to put steel In the barrel or else the gun would catch fire.

While talking to her I noticed that she was solving two Rubik's cubes in both her hands. She solved them pretty nearly in less than a minute. But I broke her record in the time of fifteen seconds which was maybe a world record. I was just warming up. I couldn't break my record again because we just reached there at that time.

The place was very beautiful. There was a big river, Cozy and nice cottages and a lot of trees. Right after we got down we were sent to a room in a tall, old building where we had to wear protective gear.

The building looked like it was gonna collapse any time, but when I knocked on the wall, I could feel something very dense inside. When I asked the guard, he said that in the middle layer there was a big alloy piece of osmium and gold.

After wearing the gear, only I was given a pistol which was to be holstered until emergency. They had trusted me with the gun because now I was capable of thinking like an adult, plus I was the leader. When we got out of the preparation room we were then sent to another room which had all of the latest technology.

There was a big screen which was approximately 8 feet long and 12 feet wide.
There were many laptops, desktops, and a very big keyboard which had all the types of buttons in the world.

We were then led to our workstations, and then the general arrived. He showed us a video which gave us a lot of information about the terrorists.

Our work was to first hack the silo's technology and cancel the launch. Then, we were supposed to trace them down so the military could send in units to capture them. We quickly got to work as there were only four hours left for the launch...
