Tessa logged onto my computer and starting looking through Effiel Tower pictures. After finding one, she used it and made one copy.

You're Invited! Paris Themed Birthday Party for Hayley LeBlanc on September 2nd at (blah blah blah address) Girls wear dresses and boys wear something fancy because it's gonna be a lit party!

"Really? Lit party? You couldn't help yourself, could you?" I asked her, laughing. "Come on! It's great. Let's pass them out to your friends tomorrow, kay?" Tessa asked. "Sure. Let's print about twenty more." "Twenty? Nope, I'm printing forty. This is gonna be lit," Tessa smirked and printed forty more.

Wake up. School. Pass out invitations. Cool. Fun. Yay.

I got out of bed slowly, brushed my teeth, took a really quick shower and choose my outfit for today.

I put on a LA tank top, short blue jean shorts, and white sneakers. I left my hair wavy, doing this hairstyle with a white bow.

When I was coming downstairs, I heard the doorbell. I answered it and Tessa was there holding a bag. "These are the invitations," Tessa told me. I nodded and grabbed a granola bar. Then we were out the door going to school.

Ryan was waiting for me. "Hi, beautiful," he greeted. "Hey," I said, blushing. "Okay lovebirds. Not in front of me, no matter how cute it is," Tessa told us, jokily backing away. "Aw, c'mon Tess," I said, giving a fake pout. Ryan laughed and put his hands in his pockets. "Oh I almost forgot-" I said to Ryan, grabbing an invitation from the bag "-this is for you." I handed it to him. He opened it and smiled. "I'll be there."
---
We got to school and went into first period. "Today I'm assigning partners for a project. Jesse, pass out these instructions," Mrs. Downy told the class and handed a pile of little paper to the boy. "Can I be partners with Hayley?" I heard Tessa ask. "Yeah!" I said. Mrs. Downy looked at us. "Again? For every project you've been together. So no. I'm assigning partners," Mrs. Downy answered, strictly. Tessa's face fell. No! I wanted to be with Tessa!

"Here are the partners," Mrs. Downy said, putting a piece of paper up.

Tessa May - Erin Cloude
Hayley LeBlanc - Brody Richardson

NO. I CAN'T BE PARTNERS WITH BRODY! He has a huge crush on me and I'm with Ryan! But it's just for one project. This can't be so bad. I turned to see myself facing Brody, with the biggest smile on his face. I leaned against the wall closed my eyes to hope it was a dream. But then I felt someone poke me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Brody standing in front of me with papers in his hands. "Come on. Let's start," Brody cheerfully said. I nodded and dreadfully followed him.
---
I grabbed a computer and opened up, Google. Brody was up in front of the class picking randomly a person for our project. He picked up a folded white paper, opened it, and read aloud: Donald Trump. I slammed my head against the desk with the eruption of laughter. I mean, I don't hate Donald Trump, but doing a project on him with the guy that won't keep his eyes off me is bothering me.

I slowly typed in Donald Trump in the search bar. All I found was hate on Donald Trump and corn compared to his hair. Oh lord please help me.

At lunch, Tessa couldn't stop laughing. "Shut up! This is terrible," I said softly. "I- can't," Tessa chuckled. Ugh. This was such an embarrassment. "Hey lovely. Why so down?" I heard Ryan ask behind me. He took a seat next to me. "First period incident," Tessa told him, still laughing. "Oh that," Ryan said. "You know?" I asked, my eyes widening. "The whole school knows. Pretty cool, huh?" Ryan asked me, chuckling. "It's embarrassing!" I screeched, but low. "Woah, everyone thinks it's funny because it's funny. No one laughed this hard in school for at least three good years," Ryan told me. "So... no one hates me or thinks I'm embarrassing?" "Nope. People have heard about your party and wants to come," Ryan added with a smile. "You got quite a gathering." I looked at Tessa which had a huge grin. "I already gave them invitations."
