Emerald's p.o.v

We arrived at Alice's house, by now I was feeling so much better. I really hate that, how I could feel like crap one minute then the next I could be so happy, it's the worst late at night, when all I have is my thoughts, in the day I'm fine because I always try to distract myself with other things but eventually it all catches up. I tugged my shades back on my face as I closed the door of Alice's car. I stared out at the ocean view. I feel so different every time I'm near the ocean, it's like it takes your soul and cleaned it. I really should go to the beach more often.

I was cut out of my day dream by little Delilah squeezing my waist. I picked her little body up and held her on my waist, "Delilah, my little munchkin." She let out a little giggle and soon I was tickling the life out of her, we were lying on the grass crying with laughter. Once we calmed down she looked at me seriously, I held my laughter in at her serious face.

"I have a brother,"what is she talking about now? She would often make up things, she even had a imaginary friend, I remember when she died we all had to go to her imaginary funeral and eat non-existent cake and tea.

"Okay honey, go inside I'll meet you in." She followed my instructions , as soon as she was inside I got up off the grass. I stretched my arms up, with my shirt ridding up a bit, a group of boys walked by, you know the typical mindless, idiots. They gave a few whistles. That really pissed me off, I wasn't a fucking dog was I? I gave them a cute smile and reached in my pocket to pull out a fuck off, I lifted my middle finger giving them a sarcastic smile, that surly shut them up. I walked into the familiar home. "Alice!" I called.

"I'm here,"  I followed her voice coming from the kitchen, once I walked in I saw a very good looking boy standing shirtless in the kitchen talking to Alice," Harry, this is Emerald. Emerald this is Harry my son,"the famous Harry. I've heard plenty of him, I hope his personality is as nice as he looks.

"Hey," I said rather awkwardly, I wasn't that good with meeting new people, especially hot ones. He definitely was something, with his curly hair and piecing emerald eyes that starred at me with big glances. I hope I don't have something on my face. Alice cleared her throat, I turned to look at her, she had a smug grin on her face. She was up to something.

"Harry why don't you, Em and Delilah hit the beach, it's a lovely day." Harry gave her a little glare, clearly he doesn't want to go with me, and I'm sure I'm not that good company, he could have so much fun without me. I was about to say something.

"That would be great, want to come?" Before I could decline the offer I accepted it. I just need a costume from home. I'm surprised he actually wanted to go with me. I'm not the most exciting  person out there.

"I just need to grab a costume." We walked outside in silence to go get Delilah and my bikini. Luckily I lived next door, our houses where very similar in fact all the houses in this part of town were the same, with a huge garden and a huge house. Isn't that all you really need?

"So what school are you at?" Harry asked like he actually cared, but really they never do. Nobody does anymore, it's all fake. Fake eyelashes, fake sympathy, fake hope, fake happiness, fake love, a fake existence.

"From Monday, East Wood, and you?" I gave him a smile, there I go with the false in my faults.

"Same," he gave me a smile, as we walked up the pathway to my house,

I told Harry and Del to wait downstairs while I went to fetch my bikini. I walked into my room and scanned my cupboards for the costume section, I found it and searched through it for my turquoise bikini. I threw it on with a white dress on top, I grabbed my bag and put all my possessions in. As I was walking downstairs, I caught the eye of Boston, he's my golden retriever. I had to take him 'cause his tails already wiggling. I walked over to the cupboard next to the back door and pulled his leash out. I clipped it to his collar, and we were all set to go. Delilah absolutely loved Boston, I love how gentle he is with her. I met Harry and Delilah in the garden playing with my old jungle gym.
