now, i've always wanted to work at a mall, but this, this is even more than i wanted.

i recently got a job at rick's music store in a huge mall. and i get well paid. my first day was boring, but it got spiced up real quick.

there's this cute boy working across from me at starbucks, and i'm too nervous to go talk to him because he is so cute compared to me.

halfway done with my shift and i decide to go talk to him. my break is soon so i guess i'll meet him them.

the 12:00 alarm goes off so i prepare myself. i gotta act chill. i need to impress.

     so i walk into starbucks and go up to the counter. the boy looks at me and smiles.

"welcome to starbucks! how may i help you?"

"can i get an order of dank memes?"

i pause

"i mean, a tall flat white!"

     good, lets see if hes worth it.

he laughs.

and starts to cry a bit.

im getting confused?

"are you okay?" i ask.

"actually, im great now that you showed up. my name's josh." he stuck
his hand out.

"tyler" i responded shaking his hand.

"hey, don't you work at rick's?" josh asked while starting to make my coffee.

"uh yeah, its my first day. its really easy when you know a lot about instruments."

im getting nervous frick.

"hey, whaddya know, its my first day too!" he hands me my coffee. "$2.45, tyler"

i give him a 5, told him to keep the change, head back to the music store. and start drinking my coffee.

then i noticed some extra writing on it. it was a phone number.

being the genius i am, i texted the phone number with a pun.

tyler: hey im sorry if i was cheesy. but it was grate to meet you.

i waited for a response.

joshy: omf are you kidding me tyler stop

then i looked over to starbucks and saw him staring at me angrily. i laughed at him and did the same.

i knew we would get along quite nicely.
