"I fucked shit up, I know I did!"

These words left Tyde rather confused.

"What do you mean? Troye, what happened?" He wrapped his arms around him, rubbing one hand up and down his back slowly to comfort his older brother. He hated seeing him upset and miserable like this.

"I-I lied to one of my best friends. C-Connor... And... And because, he asked me who I l-liked. I love Connor, but I can't tell my best friend I'm in love with him! So, I lied and said... I said Tyler Oakley to him," he said, his words slightly muffled from being buried into his brother's shoulder, but still quite audible.

"Oh... I'm sorry, Troye, I wish I knew how I could help. I've never been in a situation like yours before," he says quietly, hugging him a bit tighter. "Do you think he likes you back?"

"I don't know," Troye says, shrugging. "But if he does, I totally just ruined every chance I ever had with him by saying I liked Tyler Oakley. He asked if I liked anyone else and I said no. I totally just broke his precious heart if he does like me back, and now I don't know what to do!" The tears just kept on coming.

"I'm sorry," he whispered to Troye. "I'm sure that everything will end up okay in the end. Don't give up hope." Troye simply nodded. He didn't think it would happen, but like Tyde said, he needed to remain hopeful. Maybe things could change and they could end up together, or maybe Tyde would be wrong, and it'd all go south from there.

He hoped Tyde was right.

~

It was about a week after the drama with Troye and his dad going to prison where he belongs. Connor had invited Troye over for a sleepover, thinking he needed to have a bit of fun for a change. Connor also invited a few other friends, like JC, Ricky, Trevor, Joey, Sam, and Kian. He also invited his friend Amanda, Lilly, and a couple other female friends. The only ones that were able to make it were Troye (obviously), JC, Ricky, Trevor, Joey, Amanda, and Lilly, Sam and Kian had been busy doing god knows what that day.

Everyone arrived quick enough, with Troye ending up being the last to show. Connor was just eager to get this sleepover started, because it was going to be fun, he could already tell.

"Hi, Troye!" He said with a smile as he greeted his last guest at the door.

"Hey, Connah," the Aussie male replied, smiling as well. He was still bruised up and had a split lip, but most of the bruises were concealed and hardly noticeable. The only thing that was really noticeable was the split lip of all things.

Troye walked in, and was greeted by everybody who was sitting down in the living room, in a circle on the floor.

"Join the circle, Troye, don't be shy!" Joey called out to him, making Connor giggle and return to his spot in the circle.

"Why, what are we doing?" He assumed they were playing a game, so he joined the circle. When he saw the bottle in the center of the circle, he immediately knew what they were playing and felt a little nervous. "Oh, that's what we're playing."

"You don't have to play if you really don't want to, but we're playing it, and we'll feel bad if you get left out," Connor said when he immediately sensed the nervousness from his friend. There seemed to be a little bit of pushing to get Troye to play, but he was gentle about it and wasn't going to force him to.

"No, I'll play. I'm no chicken, Franta," Troye said boldly, and a few people in the circle giggled quietly, one of those people being Connor.

"Damn, okay then, Mellet. Spin the bottle, if you aren't so chicken. Start us off." Of course, he was teasing. He hoped that he didn't take the teasing too far by accident.

"Fine then, I will!" In reality, on the inside, he was quite nervous and not very confident like he showed himself to be. He extended his hand out, grasping the bottle before spinning it, releasing his hand from it.

Everyone watched the bottle closely, like it was the reaping in The Hunger Games and they were wondering who would be picked to be part of the annual Hunger Games. After a good half a minute of spinning, it landed on Joey.

Why couldn't it have been Connor? Joey was great too, but he didn't like him like he loved Connor.

"Pucker up, Mellet," Joey said before he giggled, crawling over to Troye about halfway. Troye met him halfway in, and Joey was the one to go in for the kiss. It lasted for a good 5-10 seconds, before Joey pulled away and crawled back to his seat.

Troye went back to his own seat, before looking over at Joey. "Not bad, but it could've been better," he joked, earning laughs from Joey, as well as a few of the other guests, as well as himself. Troye looked over at Connor, who was laughing, but only a little bit. His cheeks were a bright red color. But why?

What Troye didn't know was that Connor was jealous. He was jealous that someone else got to kiss him, and he didn't. He understood that it was only a game, but it wasn't much fun. He just really wanted to kiss Troye, and this was one way he might be able to. He hoped the bottle would be nice enough to land on Troye when Connor span it.

"Your turn, Joey! Spin!"

And so he did.

The game went on, and Connor had only been kissed once. It was by Ricky, and it was kind of weird on both halves, because Ricky wasn't openly gay, and he's been Connor's best friend for quite a while.

Now it was Connor's turn to spin.

He took in a breath and quietly exhaled it, before spinning the bottle. He watched it, and he had lost all hope it would land on Troye. It slowed past Amanda, and just when he thought it would stop on Lilly, it kept going, and actually stopped on Troye.

Oh my god, it actually happened, Connor thought to himself.

Troye was just as surprised as he was. Connor looked from the bottle to Troye, and they locked eyes. After a long, agonizing few seconds of staying silent and still, they finally began to inch towards each other. Everyone else got the hint of what was happening, which was that two people with crushes on each other were about to kiss each other. It wasn't hard to figure out.

They finally met up somewhere in the middle, and just stayed there, staring into one another's eyes. Their movements were slow, as they were both thinking the same thing: Is this really about to happen?

One hand reached up to cup one of Connor's cheeks, while the other trailed to be around his waist. Connor's hands went to Troye's shoulders. They heard a squeak noise from someone else in the circle, and felt everyone's stares burning holes into them.

That's when they couldn't take the tension any longer.

They both went in for it around the same time, not wasting anymore time in their actions.

Connor's heart raced just as much as Troye's, if not a little faster. He eased into their kiss rather quickly. Now that they've started, he didn't want to stop, but they had to sometime soon. Their lips moved with one another in a near-perfect sync, and rather eagerly with each other.

They pulled away about a minute and a half or so later, and rather reluctantly, too.

They didn't move, they just stayed there, gazing deeply into each other's eyes, smiling like idiots.

"I'm sorry this couldn't have happened sooner," Connor said, just a little jokingly, but mainly serious.

Troye laughed a little. "I am too."

And that was the beginning to the most perfect night ever, in Troye and Connor's opinions.
