She let the cold wind calm her down. Her pigtails blew in the wind as if she were in a movie. For a moment she felt at peace.

Then it all hit her at once.

She realized she was in love with Chat. Ruined her chances with Adrien because of it. He must have felt so awkward having to hear her say that.

She pulled on her cheek at the small chance she might have dreamt all of this. Where she could wake up and sigh happily at knowing it was just a dream. Happily continuing her pure love for Adrien.

But of course still she sat upon the Eiffel tower waiting for the cat's appearance.

He slid down beside her when he found her. He didn't look over at her."Good evening, my Lady."

She stared at him wide eyed. Watching him after hearing the strain in his voice. He was obviously forcing his facade.

She stayed quiet but glanced at him once in a while. She couldn't ask him what was wrong.

It would have to do with his civilian life, and she was the last person who should be asking about his other self. When she was one who always put the rule of keeping their civilian's life a secret.

But she was incredibly worried about him. He seemed depressed. The glint in his eye she had always loved wasn't there.

His face seemed grim although he was smiling. He was terrible at hiding his sadness.

"W-would you like to talk about it?"

She asked, a blush appearing across her freckles. She was no different, absolutely terrible at hiding her feelings too.

"What?" Was all the cat could muster up.

"I-I mean you don't have to tell me if you don't want! It's just y-you said I could talk to you if I had a problem so I! I want to be there for you too!"

He stared at her for a long time. She could only awkwardly glance away. Then came a smile she desperately wanted to see on him.

His brows were still furrowed but a grateful smile appeared on his face. His cheeks were tinted pink, although she was unsure if it was from her or the cold.

He took a deep breath and calmly
Told her what he could.

"I think I'm heart broken." He laughed covering his eyes with one hand as he leaned back on the other.

Ladybug winced at his words. Ah, rejection. She thought she'd be a little more used to that kind of pain. But still it pierced her like an arrow.

"You were rejected? I'm sorry." She answered in a hushed voice.

"No, it's much more complicated than that. She confessed to me. And I turned her down. Then later realized just who that girl was. And that I had fallen for her."

He bit his lip unable to look at her. What kind of face was Ladybug making now? Why was he like this? He fell for two girls? You're terrible Adrien Agreste.

"Then if you like her and she likes you. Why are you heart broken?" He heard her ask.

She was digging her fingers into her arms. She couldn't take it. Hearing him speak of love for another girl. He was just playing around with her.

His stupid grins and lame jokes. His flirtation and nicknames for her. Was he using those same tactics for that girl?

She felt her eyes water but she didn't dare wipe them and make it obvious she was crying.
