Lazlo and Riddyah were now walking towards the city of Muse at night time. The citizens were not as buzzling as they used to and the city was actually quiet for it was already late. The two of them were making their way towards the inn but Lazlo stopped.

"Hmm?" Riddyah said to him.

"We're being followed." he said to her.

And right on cue, soldiers dressed in ironclad bronze and orange armor appeared and surrounded the two of them. Lazlo kept his hand on his two holstered blades and Riddyah armed herself with her throwing knife.

"You're bad luck." Riddyah joked to him.

"I don't think this is the time to be joking." he replied to her.

"So there are 15 of them, against the two of us?" she replied. "Sounds like a fair fight." she said.

Immediately one of the soldiers rushed at Lazlo. The latter anticipated the attack and evaded the lunge attack of the first soldier's spear. The Rune of Punishment wielder slid to the right and tripped the said soldier and now he had the tip of one of his dual blades at the head of the soldier who attacked.

"Don't even think about it." Lazlo warned.

He then sensed a second soldier attacking behind him and immediately Lazlo drew his second blade with his off hand and defended the incoming swordsman from attacking him. He countered with a hard kick to the abdomen and a slash to the torso. The second soldier fell to the ground injured. The True Rune bearer likewise knocked out the first soldier who attacked.

Lazlo held two of his blades with both hands as he now had the rest of the soldiers a bit scared.

Riddyah dodged the other soldiers attacks and countered with melee attacks and she likewise knocked out two soldiers with her skills as well.

And eleven remained.

"Who sent you?" Lazlo then asked. He had a serious look on his face.

Right on cue, a swordsman wielding a curved blade landed in front of Lazlo. This left Riddyah to face the eleven Dunan soldiers behind the True Rune bearer.

"This was an order from Lady Teresa." Shin said to him. "She suspects that you are a spy." he added.

Lazlo had a serious look in his eyes. Shin retorted with a look of his own. The two fighters now slowly circled each other as the eleven soldiers gave them the space they need for the impending duel that was about to happen.

Shin had his blade raised with his right hand towards Lazlo while the latter held on both of his blades. The Rune of Punishment bearer held the blade with his left hand and pointed it at Teresa's loyal body guard.

"Sir Shin! Do not underestimate him! He has skills." One of the Dunan soldiers warned him.

The loyal body guard of the President suddenly halted. Lazlo on the other hand felt that Shin planted his weight on his front foot. In an instant, the turban wearing warrior immediately lunged at the True Rune bearer.

"This is the end." Shin said.

Shin executed a thrust which was crisp and calculated, but the True Rune bearer saw it coming.

Lazlo shifted to his left and narrowly evaded the attack. He planned his counter as he saw that the loyal guard of Teresa was a bit off-balanced. The Island Nations native then swung his other blade which he held with his right hand.

To his dismay, Shin dodged the attack with ease by jumping over him. He landed behind the twin blade wielder.

"A feint strike." Lazlo said to him with a sigh.
