Lazlo sat on the floor while Riddyah laid on the bed facing away from him. He can't sleep. The moon was lit a bright blue. His left hand continued to throb. The Rune of Punishment hasn't stopped shining since it was used.

"So." he heard the female speak on the bed. "Can't sleep too?" she asked him.

The young man simply sighed. This brought a slight smile to Riddyah's face. She looked at her right hand. It was wrapped in a bandage up to her shoulders. She got up from her bed and looked to where Lazlo was.

She saw him looking out the window from where he was seated. Lazlo's twin blades were not on his waist but they were on the table nearby. He was wearing the same outfit, the black shirt, black pants and dark gray boots with his silver vest with the black hemline on its edges. Riddyah saw that while his right hand had no glove, his left hand still wore it.

"Is it really a burden?" she asked him.

Lazlo smiled at her comment.

"You're one to talk." he replied to her astutely. He was hinting at something.

Riddyah held her right hand and felt it throb. Lazlo saw a faint light coming from it.

"So you are a wielder too?" he asked, but somehow Lazlo felt that she was since the Rune of Punishment did not stop reacting when Riddyah was around.

The girl then faced him. She rolled out the bandages from her right hand until it was no longer attached to her right hand. On the back of her hand was an insignia of elegant design. It was a circular seal with a quadratic floral design in it which had eight edges akin to an eight edged star. On the center of the seal, was a sparkling image of a multicolored astral spectrum which had the shape of bow mixed with an elegant rapier.

"The Rune of Transcendence or more popularly known as the Astral Rune." Riddyah said to him.

Lazlo was captivated by the Rune on her right hand. He stretched out his left hand towards her and his True Rune lit up a bright red and white light as well.

"I was just a child back when the Rune attached itself unto me." Riddyah began to explain to him.

Outskirts of the area near Sauronix, year 376

"We have to get to safety!" a man said. He was dressed in a blue robe with a tattered turban. Accompanying him was a little girl who was at least 9 years old at that time. She had long blue hair and was dressed in a tattered brown shirt with black pants and she was barefooted.

There were soldiers who were dressed in middle-eastern style clothing which bore a circular seal. They wore Gold Turbans and they likewise had solid bronze chestmail, greaves and gauntlets on them. They mostly were riding on horseback and they were catching on to the two real fast.

The two of them now saw a makeshift rock formation which was shaped into a house. Immediately the two escapees jumped inside the rock formation to hide from their pursuers.

"Darn it. That's the Gold Unit of the Nagarist Order." the older man said. The younger girl whimpered in fear. She was comforted by him.

"It's going to be okay Riddyah. We're going to be free soon." he assured her.

The man looked outside and saw no signs of the pursuers and the two of them continued on now to make their way to civilization.

However with just a few steps, the man sensed that they were not alone. Right on cue their pursuers appeared in a multitude of numbers. He protected the young one known as Riddyah.
