Leo's POV:
"His name is Boreas?" I ask. "What, is he the God of Boring or something?"
(Y/N) chuckles under her breath but Piper and Jason just ignore me.
"After that, we have to find those venti that attacked us at the Grand Can-"
"Can we just call them storm spirits?" I interrupt. "Venti makes them sound like evil espresso drinks." (Y/N) laughs louder this time, but she stops cold after Piper death glares her.
"And then we have to find out who the storm spirits work for, so we can find Hera and free her. That's about it, I think. There may be a wolf involved too, but I think she's friendly, so she probably won't eat us. Unless we show weakness that is."
"Probably. That's greeaaaaat," I say. I look to (Y/N) for some type of reaction, but she stays quiet. So so do I. I listen on as Jason tells us about his dream, about the big mother wolf and a burned out house with stone spires growing out of the swimming pool.
"Ok," I say unsurely. "But you don't know where this place is?"
"No," Jason admits.
"There's also giants," Piper adds. "The prophecy mentioned something like 'the giants' revenge."
"The giants' revenge, the seven shall birth," (Y/N) says. "Does that mean that there're seven giants? Cause that could be a problem."
"I think so. I remember some old Greek stories where there was something about an army of giants."
"The Gigantes? You mean the earth-born?" (Y/N) asks, worried.
"That doesn't sound too good," I say.
"Yeah, that sounds familiar. Why, what does it mean?" Piper asks, suddenly seeming very curious about what (Y/N) knows.
"They're the children of Gaea. The goddess of Earth."
"Gods," I mutter. (Y/N) looks at me with a frown that makes me extremely nervous. Maybe she didn't think I'd earned the right to use 'gods' yet. I try to avoid her and continue on with the conversation.
"So, is there anything else you know about these giants? Didn't you do a bunch of myth research for that movie with your dad?"
"Your dad's an actor?" Jason asked.
"Yeah," I laugh. "Sorry, I keep forgetting about your amnesia. Heh. Forgetting about amnesia. That's funny, don't you think-"
"Tristan McLean, right?" (Y/N) asks.
"Yeah.. how'd you know?"
"I've got a couple of friends in the Aphrodite cabin. They're nice, but they're pretty big on gossip."
Piper goes silent for a moment. "It doesn't matter, anyway," she says hesitantly.
"The giants, well, there were quite a few giants in Greek mythology. But the earth-born were huge. Almost impossible to kill. They could throw mountains and stuff. I think they were related to the Titans in some way."
"They rose from the earth after Kronos lost the war. The first war, that is. That was thousands of years ago," (Y/N) adds.
"Chiron said it was happening again," Jason says. "The last chapter. That's what he meant. No wonder he didn't want us to know all the details." I whistle nervously.
"So... giants who can throw mountains. Friendly wolves that will eat us if we show weakness. Evil espressos. Gotcha. Maybe this isn't the best time to bring up my psycho babysitter."
"Is that another joke?" Piper asks.
I shake my head.
"Her name was Tia Callida. And... well, I think she's really Hera."
"You what now?" (Y/N) says, her spine stiffening.
"Yeaaah, so funny story..."
