Chapter 4 - What?!

Heeyeon's POV

It's been 2 month since I came to Saegung High.

My ankle healed and I am as good as new.

My friends and I get along quite well.

I still feel weird around Joshua. I thought I'd get use to it.

Actually, I never did.

My heart still races whenever he's here.

Maybe I just need a bit more time.

Yes... Time... That's what I need.

"Shin Heeyeon-sshi," said Ms. Gong. "Stop day dreaming and pay attention."

"Ne,"I said. Oh right! We're still in his boring History lesson. I almost forgot!

"Why are you spacing out?" whispered Yerin when Ms. Gong looked away."That's so not like you."

I yawned and said, "I know, right? Ask Ms. Gong about it. How could a lesson possibly so boring?"

Yerin smirked and focus on her book once more. That means, just staring at it.

The bell finally rang!! Lunchtime!! Hallelujah~ My stomach is growling already!!

I saw a bunch of kids crowded at the notice board.

"What are they looking at?"Eunha said.

"Don't know,"replied SinB.

"Let's go find out,"Sowon said as she pulled us foward.

Thats what we saw:

~NOTICE~
First year students will be going on a 2 days 1 night camp during 23/3-24/3.

Please approach our vice principal,Ms. Im to recieve the notice for more details. Please sign it and return the notice by next Monday. Thank you for your attention .

"Let's go!"said Yerin and she locked her arms with mine.

"Food first,then go later,"said Sowon. And we headed towards the cafeteria.

After lunch, we went to Ms. Im's office

"We're gonna have fun!"SinB said as we went back to our classroom.

"I know,"Yuju said and we settle back into our seats.

Joshua's POV

It's finally 23/3, that means, camp!

I woke up really early in the morning, feeling excited.

I can't wait for it to start!!!

Heeyeon's gonna be there...

NO NO NO! I'm NOT excited because of her. It's beacause I can go on a trip with my dear friends.

We arrived at the campsite at 2pm sharp and set up our tent.

Jeonghan's gonna sleep in the same tent with me.

Without realizing, I set it up right next to Heeyeon's. And Jeonghan didn't say a thing!!!

Oh, so Heeyeon's sleeping with Yerin. No wonder I can't see Wonwoo around, he'd probably off to find Yuju, again.

At 3pm we gathered at the space next to the beach.

"So you will be divided into two teams and complete the mission," said Mr. Han through the speaker.

Its a relay.

1st person in our group is Umji, while the other group is SinB.

Heeyeon and I are the 2nd runner. We need to carry the 1st runner and go all the way down to the edge of the beach.

"On my whistle, THREE, TWO, ONE," shouted Mr. Han. Then he blew the whistle and Umji and Yuju started running.

"Yes, SinB!!! Go SinB! Go SinB!"shouted Heeyeon.

I laughed at her cuteness and focus on Umji, who is a bit behind SinB.

I sighed and saw SinB running towards Heeyeon and jumped onto Heeyeon's back.

Seconds later, Umji also arrived and jumped onto my back as Heeyeon set off.

Umji's POV

Joshua's running so fast to catch up on Heeyeon.

Its a good thing since he minimize the distance between the two teams.

But part of me want him to slow down because I love the feeling now, him carrying me. My head kinda snuggling into the crook of his neck. My arms fasten around his shoulders.

My heart is beating so fast as I looked down at his angelic face, seeing how close we were.

Heeyeon won't be here to ruin this beautiful moment. She's a good person but the fact that Joshua kind of like her makes me wanna kill her.

Heeyeon's POV

I finally reached the edge of the sea and our next runner Eunha set off.

I turned around and saw Joshua carrying Umji, with a smile on his face. I felt my blood boiling, but why? I can't possibly be angry suddenly, right?

When he reached us, I turned away and stormed off. I just...wanna be alone.

But dang it! I tripped and fell. I felt prain from my knees and blood trickling from the wound.

I heard Joshua calling my name and Woozi also rushed foward.

"You okay?"they askes at the same time.

"I'm okay,"I said as I bit my lips to prevent tears from falling. I gave them a small smile and looked away.

"You need to go to the First-Aid room, Heeyeon,"said Joshua.

"Yea, you should," added Woozi.

I didn't speak. I didn't move.

'You sure you okay?"asked Joshua as blood made its way to the sand.

"I'm fine!" I shouted. My eyes widen at my words and so has the other two.

"Let's go Woozi," I said as he helped me up. And we headed to the First-Aid room, leaving a stunned Joshua behind.

As Woozi and I sat in the cold First-Aid room, he spoke up when the nurse went to her office to get more cotton supply.

"You like Joshua?"he asked.

"M...mwo?"I said, staring at him.

"Aigoo, it's obvious you like him! You got jealous because he carried another girl, right?"Woozi said.

My face grew red that instant.

Maybe Woozi's right. Maybe I do like him... Maybe that's how falling in love feels like.

"Try and understand how you really feel. I know you never experience love with a boy, but trust me, you will know it when you are really in love," he said, beaming.

The nurse is back and our conversation ended.

I planned to put the camping part into one chapter but its too long so I divided it into two shorter chapters.
