A girl who plays poker or billiard, it's "stylish". I don't know why but it's something I've always thought. I'm not a feminist but a girl who can beat a guy in those games, it's quite impressive. I always wanted to know how to play, but for poker in any case, I tried it and it was a disaster. So I abandoned my dreams of female winning. And I never had the opportunity to play the billiard. Now, I really want to try but I know that I'll look like an idiot because I might really suck... So I am not reassured.

The girls leave, waving her hands at me. So here i go, I have the cue in my hands... But what am I doing here?

Awareness: I am with people I don't know at all, I'm about to do a billiard with them. 'Who knows, maybe they are psychopaths! Who knows...I bet they're gonna end up being aliens and they'll going to kidnap me to do some experiments on me in their spaceship...'

'What am i imagining again...I have to stop being an idiot.' I know hardly anyone in this town, I will have to start to make some friends someday, and they don't look like some sort of rapists! 'What a rapist looks like ?' Aaaaah, is there no off button on my head?

They are putting the balls on the table in this kind of plastic triangle. The skater-girl looks at me and smiles:

"We will perhaps do the introductions!"

"So the girl here..."

She shows me her friend, another skater-girl with dreadlocks on the head and a piercing above the eyebrow.

"...is Emma..."

Emma lift her beer up to me at the sound of her name.

"...him..."

She points her finger towards the guy leaning against the billiard table, whose hair are a bit longer but who is more like a hippie.

"...it's Tomas aka Tom. And I'm Andrea, or Andy even if it sounds a little like a guy's name."

She smiles again, in fact she smiles all the time, the only times she doesn't smile is when she speaks and yet I'm not sure!

"Well, I'm Victoria."

Once the presentations are made and all the balls are on the table, Andrea tries to teach me the rules. They're not even sure that there are actually the good ones but they have always played like that.

"The main thing is to have fun not to become the champion of the world. " She says.

The others make jokes about what she said. I don't feel like i'm being with kids. The jokes are good ones, thoughtful, which still aim to make fun of her but she takes them laughing and decreed that they will be less proud once we'll won the game. Honestly I don't think we'll win because I'm not sure to get to play as she showed me, I will ruin our team!

I joke with them.

The atmosphere is cool, we begin to play.

When Tom talks about breaking the game I start to worry. 'How does he plan to do that ?' In fact it's just to shoot the balls that are together in a triangle shape to disperse them. Yes I thought he really wanted to break the billiard table...I will not comment on my crap...

He puts a certain color ball in the hole... I didn't had the time to see how he played. 'Errm, why does he plays again?' Ah, it's normal...okay then... It's Andrea's turn. This time I look closely. She puts her hand on the table, then puts her cue in the crook between her thumb and her forefinger.

'Good so what does she do now?' She looks super focused on a red ball. 'But err, does she knows that there's a more easy one?' Ah! We have no right to shoot the yellow ones... Yeah, she already told me that... Well, she focus herself again, gives a little push with the cue and... it's in! Wow but she is great! I absolutely not understood how she did to put a ball that was not in front of the hole in the first place but she is on my team so I'm really happy! She plays one more time. I watch her. She misses. Damn!
