"You're still coming to the party tonight right?" One of my best friends Symone asked as I picked up my bags from the baggage claim. The minute I landed I called her to let her know that I arrived safe.

"Yes, I am headed to the hotel right now."

"Great, Charity said to hurry up because she missed you and doesn't want to walk the red carpet alone."

"Tell her that I am on my way and she won't be the only dateless person walking the carpet."

"She said she knows but doesn't feel like getting hit on tonight."

"I completely understand how she feels." Being a model had some perks and then some drawbacks. One of those is being hit on by guys who think that you'll go out with them because of their money and status. And only wanted to date you because it made them look good. It was one of the reason I stopped dating guys that were celebrities. Yes, not all men are the same but after awhile you lose all hope that Mr. Right is out there.

The ride to the hotel was smooth considering that is was the weekend in LA and that the Super Bowl was tomorrow. I was meeting up with Symone and our other friend Charity to get ready for one of the many Super Bowl events being hosted. I was friends with the person hosting the event and promised to show my face for a few hours. It was a perk that my girls would be in attendance so it wouldn't be boring. It also gave me the chance to catch up with Symone, since a lot had been going on in her life. We met a few years ago at her birthday party in Atlanta. I loved her designs and she loved some of my modeling jobs. We started working together and soon became good friends.

Her and her boyfriend Colin were planning to get married next month. But a teammates ex-girlfriend claimed that Colin had slept with her at his bachelor party. He denied it until the woman posted pictures of them together. As much as we wanted her to end things with him, she decided to try and work things out for the sake of their son, Caden. Which I could understand not wanting a child to grow up with parents that weren't together. It was hard to do that when the woman announced she was pregnant.

"I told you to get a separate suite from Colin. You are letting that man think he's actually got a chance with you." I said sitting in the chair in front of the mirror so that the makeup artist and hairstylist could start on my look for tonight.

"We are trying to work things out, he planned a very romantic dinner for us last night. And I had a good time with him, I like where things are going with us right now."

"Please tell me you didn't give into his smile and sleep with him again." Charity said walking into the room eating a bowl of fruit. She gave me a hug before sitting on the small bench in front of the bed.

The last time they had a romantic weekend they ended up in bed for most of the weekend. After that mishap she vowed not to have sex with him until they knew the baby wasn't his.
