SophiaWhen the magazine article was published the response was a mixture of positive and negative comments. A lot of offers came in for AJ model for different children's companies. There were some people that didn't like the fact that Amari and I kept AJ a secret saying that I had gotten pregnant on purpose so that we could get back together. I ignored many of those comments and continued to focus on my career as well as making sure I did what was best for my daughter. Amari was happy that he could finally post things about AJ and we were both approached by a production company that wanted to make a reality show about our lives. I was against it but Amari wanted to do it along with his wife, so we came to an agreement that they could do it and AJ could make small appearances that would have to be approved by me first.
"You look different." Symone said as I sat across from her for dinner. When we talked earlier she sounded like she needed some girl time so I invited her out to dinner so that we could catch up as well as give her a much needed break. From the last time I saw her at the awards show you could tell that she was pregnant and glowing.
"What are you talking about?"
"You just look different, you have this glow. If I didn't know any better I'd say that you are pregnant. But you could also be getting good dick. Or it could be the fact that you finally introduced the world to your beautiful little girl."
"I am not pregnant Symone and you've been around Charity too much. And no it's not that either, although I am sick of people asking me why I kept her hidden for so long."
"You did what you though was best for your daughter. If I were you I would do the same thing for Caden and this baby too because I hate the fact that this drama between Colin and I is in the media."
"Yeah but sometimes I feel like I made the wrong choice. Amari wants to do a reality show."
"For what?"
"To show how a successful co-parenting relationship looks like."
"That's bullshit and goes against every reason why you wanted AJ out of the spotlight."
"I know, which is why I'm not doing it. I told him that AJ can make appearances but I don't want a camera in her face all the time."
"It's good that you can compromise with him."
"I wouldn't call that a compromise, I'd call that me not wanting to talk about it anymore."
"How does he feel about you and Malcolm?"
"He hates it but I told him he needed to get over it, he tried to threaten custody when I told him that I wanted Malcolm and AJ to meet."
"Was this before or after he dropped her off when Malcolm was visiting."
"Before, he was very pissed when I told him that they had already met. That's when he accused me of being ashamed of her and agreeing to let the world know about her. Oh I ran into some jealous WAGs when I went to Malcolm charity event. They told me I wasn't the arm candy he needs to boost his image. I'm pretty sure one of them was an ex or close friend of his."
"I would keep a close eye on her, is that the same time you started feeling sick and told him his cologne smells bad."
"Yeah, how did you know that."
"He called me to ask me what to do for you while you were sick?"
"He did? I am not sick most mornings and there's something about his cologne that just makes my stomach turn. I was never sick when I was pregnant with AJ."
"He was worried about you and wanted advice on what to do. His cologne never bothered you before, I was the same way when I was pregnant with Caden. Humor me, when was the last time you two had sex?"
