"(Name)-chan!"
You heard his voice echo in the gym. Your childhood friend, Takao Kazunari, with his usual companion, the carrot, Midorima Shintaro.
"Kazu-kun! How's basketball practice?" You smiled. Seeing Takao was the best part of your day, even though you see him everyday, lots of times. You always visited their basketball practices and meetings, you grew close with the whole team. Including the tsundere carrot.
"It's great now that you're here~!" He teased, making you blush mad.
You see, the thing was, you liked him. A lot. So whenever he would tease you in thay way, blood would rush to your cheeks. But you didn't care. You liked the feeling of that anyway. Including the additional butterflies you'd feel, "Mou~! Kazu-kun!"
He just snickered.
You rolled your eyes and landed sight on Midorima.
"Tsun-chan!"
"Don't call me that, nanodayo."
"Why? It fits you perfectly! Right, Kazu-kun?"
Takao chuckled and snickered as quietly as he could,"You're right, (Name)-chan!"
You two laughed as Midorima rolled his eyes to focus back on practice, "Oi, Takao. Stop flirting with her, and get back to practice."
This caused you to blush madly as you remembered something you had to do. So you asked Takao if he could meet you at the rooftop after basketball practice.
"Eh? The rooftop? Sure, (Name)-chan!"

You were kinda nervous.
Especially since you heard (Random Girl's Name) liked Takao. Who knows? He might return those feelings. (Random Girl's Name) was much more beautiful than you after all.
Since it was to early to come to the roof, you stayed outside the school, and sat underneath one of the trees there. Not long after, you carelessly fell asleep.

Meanwhile, after practice, Takao was packing his things quickly just to meet you. And a certain carrot was getting annoyed because of Takao's rushed actions.
"What's with you, nanodayo?"
Takao just replied with silence.
"Oi!"
"Eh? Ah, Shin-chan? What's wrong?"
"Your pace is annoying me. What's with you, nodayo?"
"Ah. Gomen. (Name)-chan is waiting for me upstairs at the rooftop. Don't wanna keep her waiting!"
"...You know, I heard from Oho Asa this morning that today's a good day for (Zodiac sign) and Scorpios."
"H-Hey, Shin-chan. I-I know I tease you a lot, b-but it's not a good thing at all to make fun about t-that kind of s-situation." Takao pouted.
Midorima just sighed, "Why don't you just confess, nanodayo?"
"I-I would... I-I just don't want it to get awkward between us when s-she doesn't feel the s-same way, you know...?" Takao explained with his head bowed down. Then smirked, "Why are you asking? My, Shin-chan, I didn't know you had your knowledge about these kinds of stuff! About... L-O-V-E!"
