"I still can't believe you cast as Juliet in the play," Tristan laughed, slapping Yugi in the back, playfully.
"Neither can I," Teah growled "I mean... You're a guy, Yugi. I think Mrs. Friltz is wack anyways. You should go talk to her about changing parts."
"I'm not one tah usually agree with Teah, Yug'," Joey added "But wit' Kaiba as Romea'n'all... Ya might wanna considah it."
"I'm sure it'll be fine," Yugi insisted "Me and Kaiba are friends."
"Whatevah ya say, Yug'," Joey patted his head as they came up to his study-hall "See ya aftah class!" The gang split off to their own classes and Yugi walked into his usually crowded study-hall to find it empty bar for Yami.
"Where is everybody?" Yugi wondered.
"Appearently we were in a study-hall full of Newspaper nerds because everyone but you, me and Kaiba are out on a trip to the recycling plant," Yami smiled.
"And Kaiba?" Yugi asked.
"Meeting," Yami shrugged.
"Oh," Yugi nodded, sitting down beside Yami.
"And before you ask," Yami added, quickly "The teacher left a note saying she was going to go get a coffee from the teacher's lounge and that she'd be back in a minute."
"I see," Yugi said before holding up his newly appointed script "I got a major part in the play!"
"Romeo and Juliet," Yami read the cover "You got Romeo?"
"Well..." Yugi blushed "No... I got the part of Juliet."
"Hahahahaha!" Yami laughed, ruffling his hair "Just your luck, eh, Yugi?"
"Yeah," he giggled "Would you like to help me practice, Yami? You could be Romeo."
"Sure," he nodded, flipping through the script that Yugi handed him "Where shall we start, my fair lady."
"Act One, Scene Five, you jerk," Yugi stuck his tongue out.
"And why there, My fair lady?" Yami inquired, flipping to that part i the script.
"Because that's what the director told me to work on," Yugi shrugged "She's a little crazy, If you ask me."
"Alright," Yami sighed, laying the opened booklet on the desk "I'll be everybody besides Juliet. Where’s Potpan, that he helps not to take away? He shift a trencher? He scrape a trencher!"
"When good manners shall lie all in one or two men’s hands, and they unwashed too, ’tis a foul thing," Yami recited, Changing his voice as best as he could for each person "Away with the joint-stools, remove the court-cupboard, look to the plate. Good thou, save me a piece of marchpane, and, as thou loves me, let the porter let in Susan Grindstone and Nell. Ay, boy, ready. You are looked for and called for, asked for and sought for, in the great chamber. We cannot be here and there too. Cheerly, boys. Be brisk awhile, and the longer liver take all."
"And then we do all that stuff," Yugi added, pointing at the script.
"You aren't even in here yet!" Yami demanded "Skipping time!"
"But..." Yugi attempted only to get a finger pressed against his lips.
"Skipping time?" Yami repeated.
"Fine," Yugi rolled his eyes, holding back a smile as best as he could."
"Good," Yami smirked "So... to sum it up, Romeo goes up to Juliet, that being you, and takes her hand like so," Yami takes Yugi's hand in both of his and looked him in the eyes before giving him a wink "And then says; If I profane with my unworthiest hand. This holy shrine, the gentle sin is this: My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand. To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss."
"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much," Yugi recited "Which mannerly devotion shows in this, For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss."
"Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?" Yami wondered.
"Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer," Yugi replied.
"O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do. They pray; grant thou, lest faith turn to despair," Yami offered.
"Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake," Yugi explained, a sweet smile showing on his face.
"Then move not, while my prayer’s effect I take," Yami offered, leaning forward and placing a kiss on his lips.
"Yami!" Yugi blushed, firetruck red.
"What?" Yami smirked "I could tell you wanted me to."
"Yeah but..." Yugi defended.
"See?" Yami pointed out "You just admitted it."
"Let's just finish this part," Yugi suggested "And don't do that again."
"Fine, fine," Yami waved away "Thus from my lips, by thine, my sin is purged."
"Then have my lips the sin that they have took," Yugi stated.
"Sin from thy lips?" Yami gasped "O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again." Once again, Yami leaned over and kisses Yugi on the lips again, deeper this time, yet still shortly.
"Yami!" Yugi exclaimed "You said you wouldn't!"
"Would you like to return the favour?" Yami inquired.
"I hate you," Yugi giggled.
"That'll be true the day Romeo and Juliet doesn't have them kissing twice in the same scene," Yami smirked "So, do I kiss by the books, my fair lady?"
"Maybe..." Yugi stuck his tongue out "Maybe."
